It could just be the trauma of such an experience that impacts his recollection of things. It seems like a pointless thing to lie about. I think even for someone who is on the spectrum it would be pretty fucked up emotionally.

Unless people want to argue that he is genuinely a full on psychopath or something.

Very hard to know in a situation like that - and I have to question why the ex-wife thinks its such a pertinent moment to publicly tell the world that her ex-husband was misremembering or misstating the way their infant child died of SIDS.

I think I have serious questions for both parties involved, because I am pretty sure if I was a public figure and said something about how someone in my family died and I was actually wrong that no one in my family would publicly quote tweet me about it and say "NAH NIGGER, UR WRONG, SHE ACTUALLY DIED IN MY ARMS" - it seems like utter disrespect for the actual life of the child in the first place.

I think it’s more the dude is stretching himself increasingly thin to the point even children he has are getting left behind. He’s doing too much, political or not, so the cracks are starting to show.

He has the pathological lying.

He's got the manipulation, and I would assess a lot of this is done in a way he thinks of as very Machiavellian.

He feigns concern for the wellbeing of others on one hand, and on the other promotes the views of actual genocidal maniacs.

Doesn't seem to care about anyone in his life, be that significant others or children.

Whenever someone contradicts him and shows he is wrong he will go after them.

I'm no expert, but I think the possibility isn't exactly farfetched.

Yeah that could definitely be the case.

Or he thinks he is correctly prioritizing things. He may be in "founder mode" mindset currently since the election which is basically when the founder of a startup fucks off everything else to purely focus on their business. And sure it is in poor form to ignore your kids but it's not like he's the only business tycoon type person to have ever done so.

If he is actually that stretched thin I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up having a mental breakdown or something at some point.
