I agree, although I'm personally not worried about the ethical issues, shooting is cheaper to boot.

Also, depending on the crimes committed, I'd like to see public punishments like the stocks come back.

Give me an answer on why I should give a shit aside from 'oh no muh controlled burns' when those are limited anyways because of the EPA, as well as dealing with logging is also limited just the same. Do they do important work? Yes. Are they invulnerable to the necessities of fixing government? No.

Come back to me when the FS actually stops California from burning to the ground and then I'll have sympathy.

i agree only because bullets are cheaper, I don't care how uncomfortable it is for the person being killed. I see nothing wrong with the worst criminals who have committed the absolute most heinous crimes imaginable suffering in their final moments on principle.
