So true. My dad was a government employee and I had a contractor position in my mid 20s. None of us were like my dad. Not that he was a special employee but it was just a different time. My contract work was ridiculous by the way and its most of the reason that I left. I literally felt like a leech every day and left to actually be productive.

You made me think of something that I hadn't before. Jim talks a big game about his mom but he's never once said anything about her trying to get him a job. The way he tells it he barely passed high school, did a semester at UMD, dropped out, bar tended for a few years, and then fucked off to the west coast. Was mom so shit at her job that she couldn't even get her only child a foot in at any of the agencies she worked at or was Jim such a useless shit that she wouldn't risk her pension on him even pushing a mail cart?

The Jarvis Strikes Back (and its stinky)
We’ve mentioned Jim’s biggest ball washer in the past. That would be Texas-based educator, lolicon ai generator, and hidden camera in his daughter’s bathroom enjoyer, Steven Jarvis.
While it’s immediately clear to everyone that Jarvis is unhinged, every once in a while he says things that make you think he’s much more deeply disturbed than we could’ve imagined.
In a post about Elon Musk and his baby mama drama, Nicole (one of Jim’s biggest alogs) shared her thoughts. She abbreviated “Baby Mama” as “BM”, and “Baby Daddy” as “BD”. Jarvis thinks the abbreviations are actually for pooping and discharge.
Jarvis quite literally finds any piece of info he can intentionally misconstrue and publishes it. I’m thoroughly convinced that he thinks if he just fills up the Internet with misinformation and smears on his targets, that SEO will takeover and they’ll forever be smeared.
Instead…he loses all of his fans and even his one journalist friend, Jake LaHut (Daily Beast) has distanced himself from him. Also, everyone involved in the Jarvis sourced hit piece is no longer employed by the Daily Beast. Fun
Jake claims he was young and stupid when he wrote that article. It was two years ago.
Above and below: Jake is still trapped in the LARP. He thinks that people responding to being attacked and smeared are the actual problem and he will superblock those suicide trolls with lightning speed.
Below: the Wired editors should go to bat for Jake - or any of the contributors - if they’re in the right. The fact is that if the Wired editors looked at the Jarvis story and fact-checked it, LaBut would be blacklisted.
So, what did Jim’s attack dog do? He fed a bunch of completely made up smears to Jake LaHut and Jake just decided to publish them. Things like the ridiculousness above about bowel movements was printed with zero fact-checking by LaHut. Jarvis intentionally went shopping for a dumb journo the use as a mouthpiece for his smears and found one.
Some background on the Jarvis/LaHut hitpiece. It’s a doozy. And while this isn’t directly Jim’s actions or behaviors, Jarvis is the attack dog of Stewartson and has fully implemented his tactics.
We are going to need a thread on Jarvis soon. If I can get the time, I’ll do it.

It’s pretty thorough and I’m pretty sure his lolicon ai generation is documented in a few of the many entries.
Edit: this entire thread questions LaHut’s poor journalism but also brings up this strange tangent. Steven Jarvis helped a pedophile get back on Twitter. Since Jarvis himself has suggested he has hidden cameras in his daughter’s bathroom, and has been caught generating sexual images of children via AI, this little detail shouldn’t be overlooked. Remember, as Jarvis is accusing people of generating sexual images of children, he’s been caught doing exactly that.
