He's the shittiest player I've ever seen
There ya go. That’s a bit more accurate. He is objectively bad at EVERY(thing) game he plays.

Even SF6, where he gets his characters to Master, is because he uses atrophied muscle memory and just one and dones people who are good at the game.

Everything the pignigga does is the path of least resistance.

also sf6 hands you master for almost nothing. i saw a twitter clip a year ago where some guys tiny ass kid hit master spamming modern control auto combos. he was hardstuck silver in sfv. same with tekken 8 and tekken 7, peaked purple rank in 8 but hardstuck teal in 7. it's amazing how he's convinced himself he's a competent player when it's just modern dopamine-inducing game design doing exactly what it was designed to do.

Clipped unrecorded beg segment
Bonus: gambling section
>im not playing this ever again, really. i will not do this gambling ever again, it's completely rigged
P. P. Burnell, moments before spending another $100 on shiny gems and sweaty men

also my god yakuza is not an rpg why does he keep calling it that :story:

Maybe if he literally wasn't falling asleep every time he played a RPG or narrative driven game people would be more engaged and support. I've been watching RPG playthroughs or lets plays since they were first every made and the current DSP is the single worst version of that type of content.

He totally ignores the story and always misunderstands the plot, never understands any gameplay mechanics, for some reason still does voice acting for non voiced text even though superblindman is dead and makes every playthrough take 2x as long as it needs to. He is about to have another RPG overload moment too if he starts Suikoden that will be 3 rpgs at once + lost pause that might kill the business.

He hyped this Yakuza game up ever since the first trailer and his playthrough has been fucking abysmal even by his standards.

It's why I try to avoid his Yakuza/LAD playthroughs. He's uninteresting and fucking falls asleep; someone sent a chat asking why he always falls asleep during the games, and he tried to play it off as it only happened in the rerelease of Ishin. But if you go through his playthroughs, he starts dozing in most if not all of them. He's not entirely wrong that it is the cutscenes where he dozens, but he also fails to realize that he's admitting he has a tiny ass attention span.

Every Yakuza game is the same in that regard, there's gonna be a lot of cutscenes and story broken up by parts where you play; and Phil fucking cries because he can't just let shit roll. He wants to bitch that he's still in the tutorial part of Yakuza: Pirate, but will refuse to deviate from his daily 3 hour pre-stream. Dude bitches how he works so hard, 8 hours of streaming a day; but the first two halves are different games and the first half is more mindless talking than gameplay.

Three of eight hours a day are his pre-stream podcast; that's almost half his total stream time. Those numbers across his six day work week; and it's 18 hours of pre-stream out of 48 hours, well over one-thirs of his total play time. But the games are a problem, not his need to run his mouth.

And what's even worse is when he has nothing to talk about it. It's not "Hey, I've run out of stuff to talk about, let's start gaming already!" No, it's always fucking Q&A to fill the extra time. 3 fucking hours of Q&A today in fact. That's why you have no time to do shit, cause you're wasting time with Q&A.

You tell me what's looks more like a pattern, all the Cammy's that whoop Phil in SF6 or the first 25 seconds of the above video (Phil on the right playing DJ).
Zoning, sliding low, zoning, sliding low, and as soon as the Honda touches him he crumbles and loses his whole life in seconds. Wow doob, intelligent, reactive, non-pattern-flow gameplay

Are you saying the most uninteresting person on Earth doesn't have enough content for an hour of Q&A a day?

You can also tell that he doesn't even pay attention, because one of the hallmarks of a streamer playing a RPG is actually getting into the story. Phil pays so little attention that he has to be hand held by chat to even remember who people are. Then he whines that nobody wants to watch a streamer who isn't paying attention and feel obliged to not only chat and give him money, but also know the game for him.

I'll never understand his need to have a podcast every single day, at least 85-90% of the time is spent vamping/pointless Q&A with his chat/and begging. Why not limit it to a single podcast a week? Definitely feels like he's sick of gaming, which I know is the popular opinion.

The other thing is he hypocritically puts so much emphasis on new releases and playing them on release date but he'll play for a single 2-hour session (at best) and then won't play it again until 2 days later. He could try to strike while the iron is hot at least the tiniest bit and play new releases during both sessions on release day but he rarely even does that. It's like he does everything in his power to not succeed.

It's because how most of his donos come in during the podcast, so he's got the idea in his head that he makes most his money from the podcast. In reality, it's just his parasocial losers coming in and giving their money early. If he didn't have the podcast and started gameplay right away, he'd still make the same amount since those people tend to budget out how much money they're gonna give to Phil and on what day.

The stupid way he breaks up new releases does in fact kill his channel. You can't even come to his channel to get 'chill', 'fun', 'meaningful' gameplay of the newest releases cause there' so little of it. I know he wants to do this really shitty thing of "people support different games and if they don't see what they like, they leave permanently" crap. But if there's a new release, he should be playing it both streams every other game. Not 1 2-3 hour stream once a week. That's why he never finishes anything, cause there's so little gameplay actually going on.

Not serious enough that he couldn't help but show his Discord again...after he ragged on Rich yesterday for doing the same thing.

Professional stream here.

JChensor and NYCFurby are James Chen and Arturo Sanchez, respectively. Those are oldschool FGC guys and Chen is still commentating for tournaments and Arturo still streams but got laughed out of the scene almost completely when he got spanked by Daigo and Fuudo and was totally humiliated in front of the entire scene.

Who is Becky? Is that Wings' wife?

It could just be that I don't find much of my life to be that interesting; but outside of something major happening, I couldn't give a three hour talking session about my entire week without needlessly repeating shit. Even if I were to do things in minuet DPS detail (i.e. I open the garage door, I get into the car, I drive out of the garage, I close the garage door); I still couldn't stretch a week's worth of shit out to three hours. Most adults in one way or another, we have our patterns/schedules, and outside of, dare I call it a "random event," shit doesn't deviate too much; and this should go triple with how hard DSP tries to enforce his schedule as some sort of unassailable platform that cannot be deviated from. What he fucking eats or Kat makes for dinner is literal fucking dent shit, his day off is a fucking waste; yes Phil, you went shopping, restocked Jasper's needs, and ate out somewhere. DSP News isn't even a recurring thing as much as he likes to pretend it's something he does regularly, and even if it was, it's more like a "Okay, let's find the dumbest fucking weekly comments on the Internet. Oh, DSP News, perfect."

He has the dumbest fucking idea when he tried to take up the moniker of "Variety Streamer" which was originally a Twitch thing. Instead of realizing that there's FGC, Spedrunners, Horror specialists, Capcom shill, etc; the "Variety" type is literally "Oh, this seems cool" and they play it. Phil seemed to take that as a "I must play something different every time." This only expanded the idea that he has holes in his brain as he can't remember shit that he played a day or so earlier, because he literally says shit like "I haven't played this in a couple of days, I completely forgot how." He wants to pretend how what he does now is totally different from his back in the day of Day-1 release non-stop uploads, and it is to a degree, but he waffles back and forth between doing what's appropriate. As much as he likes to stick to his schedule, he doesn't have a schedule, he has a schitzophrenic plan.

Ideally, his "schedule" should be something like this;
Monday - Thursday: The game, 1 game, whatever it is, you play one fucking thing to completion.
Friday: Your gay podcast in the morning plus a game (The Mon-Thurs or Saturday one) then Friday Night Fights (a fighting game, can vary)
Saturday: Some sort of extended play or demo or tryout or a pickup; I.E. That Oblivion/Skyrim 100+ repeat shit, or his 1-hour demo to see what might be a full playthrough.
Sunday: Off

Or you can switch Monday and Saturday around, so your podcast can have Phil's Gay Day Off after the day off; either way, there's a number of ways to go about this; but Phil's all over the fucking place and cries that his schedule is important.

Lmao. He's stalling and doing the QA bs until a tip comes in.
