And what's even worse is when he has nothing to talk about it. It's not "Hey, I've run out of stuff to talk about, let's start gaming already!" No, it's always fucking Q&A to fill the extra time. 3 fucking hours of Q&A today in fact. That's why you have no time to do shit, cause you're wasting time with Q&A.
I'll never understand his need to have a podcast every single day, at least 85-90% of the time is spent vamping/pointless Q&A with his chat/and begging. Why not limit it to a single podcast a week? Definitely feels like he's sick of gaming, which I know is the popular opinion.
It could just be that I don't find much of my life to be that interesting; but outside of something major happening, I couldn't give a three hour talking session about my entire week without needlessly repeating shit. Even if I were to do things in minuet DPS detail (i.e. I open the garage door, I get into the car, I drive out of the garage, I close the garage door); I still couldn't stretch a week's worth of shit out to three hours. Most adults in one way or another, we have our patterns/schedules, and outside of, dare I call it a "random event," shit doesn't deviate too much; and this should go triple with how hard DSP tries to enforce his schedule as some sort of unassailable platform that cannot be deviated from. What he fucking eats or Kat makes for dinner is literal fucking dent shit, his day off is a fucking waste; yes Phil, you went shopping, restocked Jasper's needs, and ate out somewhere. DSP News isn't even a recurring thing as much as he likes to pretend it's something he does regularly, and even if it was, it's more like a "Okay, let's find the dumbest fucking weekly comments on the Internet. Oh, DSP News, perfect."
The stupid way he breaks up new releases does in fact kill his channel. You can't even come to his channel to get 'chill', 'fun', 'meaningful' gameplay of the newest releases cause there' so little of it. I know he wants to do this really shitty thing of "people support different games and if they don't see what they like, they leave permanently" crap. But if there's a new release, he should be playing it both streams every other game. Not 1 2-3 hour stream once a week. That's why he never finishes anything, cause there's so little gameplay actually going on.
He has the dumbest fucking idea when he tried to take up the moniker of "Variety Streamer" which was originally a Twitch thing. Instead of realizing that there's FGC, Spedrunners, Horror specialists, Capcom shill, etc; the "Variety" type is literally "Oh, this seems cool" and they play it. Phil seemed to take that as a "I must play something different every time." This only expanded the idea that he has holes in his brain as he can't remember shit that he played a day or so earlier, because he literally says shit like "I haven't played this in a couple of days, I completely forgot how." He wants to pretend how what he does now is totally different from his back in the day of Day-1 release non-stop uploads, and it is to a degree, but he waffles back and forth between doing what's appropriate. As much as he likes to stick to his schedule, he doesn't have a schedule, he has a schitzophrenic plan.
Ideally, his "schedule" should be something like this;
Monday - Thursday: The game, 1 game, whatever it is, you play one fucking thing to completion.
Friday: Your gay podcast in the morning plus a game (The Mon-Thurs or Saturday one) then Friday Night Fights (a fighting game, can vary)
Saturday: Some sort of extended play or demo or tryout or a pickup; I.E. That Oblivion/Skyrim 100+ repeat shit, or his 1-hour demo to see what might be a full playthrough.
Sunday: Off
Or you can switch Monday and Saturday around, so your podcast can have Phil's Gay Day Off after the day off; either way, there's a number of ways to go about this; but Phil's all over the fucking place and cries that his schedule is important.
