Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Worse are the russians just going full rambo on those kids, because they just could.
:feels:I mean it, even if they're dirty war tourists - voices sound way too young to go like that...
As an American it is sad to see, but what did they expect to happen? So many people bought into the propaganda to go and fight for a country whose people wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. How many stories have we heard from British, Canadian, and American mercs fighting for Urkaine where the Ukrainian soldiers steal their equipment and the rest of their shit? Wasn't there a female British medic that was found raped and killed after she spoke out about how they were treated by Ukrainians?

The text of the resolution adopted by the UN Security Council calling for a speedy peace in Ukraine.

10 countries voted in favor (USA, China, Russia, Algeria, Guyana, Sierra Leone, South Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Somalia), 5 abstained (UK, France, Greece, Slovenia, Denmark); thus, for the first time since the beginning of the conflict, the US, Russia and China voted together for the resolution on Ukraine. lmao what the fuck is this? Fucking tourists, open field, no cover, full gear and both get rekt by a guy with a pistol who just walks at them??? Somebody played too much call of duty.

But what also weirds me out just as much is how the opposing soldier walks alone into an open field, against two soldiers that carry semi-auto weapons, armed with seemingly nothing but a pistol, with little to no regard for cover or for whether or not there are any other soldiers, snipers, drones or anything else that could easily kill him at a distance.
So, from what I was hearing from various corners of the internet, these guys were the last survivors of a unit in Russian territory, spotted by Russian recon drones and pinned down behind that rusty junk. And the Russians taking them out were doing mop-up operations.

If that's true, they were likely panicked and low/out of ammo. And a ballsy Russian got in close and finished them off with a sidearm.

Was all the incoming fire from Pistol Guy? Or did they get hit from elsewhere too and he went in to make sure they stayed down?

Came from elsewhere too, I think he walked in on them under cover.
Still pretty nuts. Wouldn't do that, I'd always wait for definite arms up or roll on your backs - if there's time for that.
Not a big fan of guys like that tbh. But I can relate to how amped he probably was to fuck up people who were send there for an "adventure".
Fuck around and find out, I guess.

Very valid points which makes some of the stuff within the video make more sense, but others more confusing. It makes all the execution the pistol guy did all that more merciless. That means he must've known that he was dealing with utter fodder, terrified foreigners that were very far away from home and would've been super easy to intimidate to surrender and enter captivity. No, he just kept shooting them, not even sparing his own ammunition.

Also, if you are the last surviving member of a unit with 1 or 2 other people... why the fuck would you stop to film some rusty remains of a tank for your "le cringe comp" instead of running for your fucking life? If you can't run - walk. If you can't walk - fucking crawl. ANYTHING but standing still like a doofus inside of enemy territory without a plan.

There are three types of people who use go pros in this war, Trained operators that use the footage to boost moral, this is for both sides. Then you have Ukrainian volunteers, most of these are gone now but early on in the war lots of young volunteers would record footage, Given how the conditions are horrific and people don't wont to be on the front so much now you see this much less. Lastly its idiot Mercs, typically those who aren't from a military background, theses guys cross into the previous category as they are often volunteers as well. They did it all for the updoots and all they got was a lousy pine box.

As is said above: It's pretty rambo - i.e. stupid - to walk in on them like that, esp. when they are scared teenagers playing irl call of duty. No cop would do that.
They weren't kidding when they said this shit is like WW1 overall.

I once again present to you this exceptional British individual named Aiden Aslin:

Aislin.webp

He went to fight in Donbass, got captured, got sentenced to death by Donetsk courts, got deported back to England under condition of not coming back, then returned to Ukraine the very next day looking extremely smug because he fooled them bloody stupid orks and got away with it, har har.

Aislin2.webp

Well done Aiden, the Russians stopped playing catch and release with foreign mercs after that.

lol! I think
Judging from the way they sounded I'm guessing that was the first (and last) time in their lives they didn't like hot loads being shot at them
Being a merc is all fun and games, until it’s not you doing the killing, but a competent Russian officer with a good aim.

plenty of vids and reports saying the hohols shakedown their western allies.
If this was a Ukrainian finishing the blocking squad, I doubt we would have seen it.

I know it was obvious many years before that the UN was pointless, but I think the referendums from yesterday really cement just how useless the UN really is.

Not necessarily. There aren’t THAT many surveillance satellites. Don’t get me wrong, it’s more than a handful, but we’re also not talking about Starlink-like numbers
Sorry to necro this, just wanted to add one more aspect to the satellite-destroying topic:
Kessler syndrome or not, shooting down a satellite would set a precedent, and I'm not sure any sane world leader want to open that pandora's box...

Leader(s) from a NATO country going to Ukraine to try torpedoing ongoing peace talks while telling Ukraine to keep fighting because they've totally got their backs...
Trump should unironically tell putler to "do as you wish", leave NATO and tell these retards to go ahead and play warrior all they like - alone.

Regarding the mercs being massacred:
Doesn't the camera dude mention "trap" at the beginning? They look like they're retreating.
Also, he looks he's wounded when he discovers the pistol dude behind them, hence not being able to shoot back.
