This is Stella O'Malley and Sasha Ayad's last podcast of "Gender: A Wider Lens". I haven't listened all the way through yet, but I want to say that I've always enjoyed their wise and witty takes.
I would be happy if someone could maybe archive this for me
Seize the day, or the pendulum will swing right back even farther in 20 years, and before you know it the only thing conservatives will be conserving are tranny rights while liberals push pedo rights.
100% the last thing anyone should get is complacent. We're winning battles, we haven't won the war, it's a constant struggle against the sort of evil the Gendershit Cult represents. We can't get complacent. What we can and need to do is dismantle their shit so completely that they'll have a lot of rebuilding to do before they even think of getting society back to the state they've gotten it this time.
We can't ever forget what these people do when you buy into their bullshit and their lies.
They've let the mask slip, we can't let people forget what lurks behind it.
I don't get it, why can't a boy go "full rupaul" if he wants to? What does that even mean? (Not a rhetorical question, please explain) As long as nobody cuts his dick off an claims to be a woman? Sounds fine. I thought this very kind of freedom is what we fought the nazis and commies over, no? Gender abolition is of course bullshit, because women and men aren't the same, there NEED to be different rules when it comes to both - I for example don't think that a man has any right to pester an ob-gyn about his imaginary vagina like just happened in france, where they suspended such a guy for refusing service to a tranny. But I am really struggling to find reasons besides providing private female spaces, with no male access and such things - the whole dress=sex thing IS really grating, I do think that's bull shit - rupaul isn't my vibe but I have no problem with guys running around as gaudy as many a 50 something karen is allowed to on her job. Gender abolitionism sounds almost based, but I've grown weary of anything gender and absolutist sounding.
Yeah it sounds nice and harmless in theory "be kind" let them live their lives and all that bullshit, but we have over a decade of evidence at this point that tolerating immorality and deviance just leads to ever more depraved expressions, as the people who do that shit get desensitized to the "thrill" of violating social and moral constraints, and look to ever more extreme acts to get the same buzz.
Pathological Tolerance is cancerous to society, we've seen the result of "just let them be themselves".
Theres a reason societies have moral taboos and values, without them they degenerate into the sort of shit we've seen, people wanting fucking cross dressers reading to kids, sodomite propaganda in schools under the disguise of "inclusive sex ed", "I am Jazz" and ROGD, bug chasers and AIDS, trannies in the military, cross dressing luggage thieves in Government office.
History is full of examples of the result, societies that are in decline become more and more permissive and tolerant to all kinds of deviance and immorality until they are destroyed both from within and by other, more healthy and less permissive societies that replace them.
This "be kind" "they aren't hurting you" bullshit is corrosive and toxic to a healthy society.
I don't want my children and grand children growing up in a world where "Desmond is Amazing" and future child drag queens dancing for pedophiles that stuff dollar bills in their waist bands is seen as acceptable.
You've got a good heart, I'm not getting at you personally, but that's exactly what these sick fucks prey on, decent people wanting to be kind, and live and let live.
They prey on nice people wanting to believe everyone is like them.
They're not.
These are people that make a degenerate sexual fetish the cornerstone and focus of their lives.
Give these sick fucks an inch and they'll take a mile, and before you know it we're back to square one, with choirs full of registered sex offenders and parades through the streets singing about how they're coming for our children.

That's basically the whole point, that gender (i.e. the socially constructed agreement on what is considered feminine or masculine) should be erased, and sex (i.e. the immutable, physical differences between males and females) should be the only thing considered. YMMV on whatever the fuck loonies on the internet say about it, but that's the traditional stance as I was taught back in the aughts by internet TERFs and lesbians.
Tbh as long as it's appropriate for the setting I really don't fucking care what people decide to do with their personal presentations. My life as a woman isn't impacted by a fag who wants to wear James Charles-esque clown makeup or a butch lesbian in jeans and an oil-stained t-shirt. Manly men(tm) were wearing short-shorts and crop tops in the 80s and society didn't suddenly collapse. Hell, every single woman I know IRL is obsessed with the androgynous guy look. It's all this "muh gender" bullshit that's ruined that kind of self-expression for everyone.
Stumbled across a vtuber tranny that has set up a website and YouTube channel solely to preach the virtues of North Korean Juche and the eternal wisdom of Kim Il Sung. View attachment 7023746 View attachment 7023747
The voice is a pretty dead giveaway, but I'm curious if they mention being trans in any of the videos. I can't imagine troon ideology is looked upon fondly at all in NK so I'm wondering if they ever address the elephant in the room there.

As men are naturally degenerates Because men are more prone to kinks and sexually degenerate behavior, men who wear female clothing are more likely than not to be doing it for fetish reasons. I also used to think that men should be able wear female clothing without mockery or shaming and they should fight for the right to wear skirts and blouses like women fought for the right to wear pants. And that wish was granted by the monkey's paw. Seeing the type of men who 'fight' for the right to wear female clothing, men should just stick to pants. Seriously, though, I tend to side-eye any man who expresses strong interest in wearing female clothing but before 2000, I just thought he was brave for breaking gender barriers.
Gender abolitionism sounds almost based, but I've grown weary of anything gender and absolutist sounding.
Gender abolitionism suffers from the fact that liberals suck at naming things. What it usually means is that no value/valence/meaning will be put on someone's sex unless the physical differences between men and women are relevant. For example when it comes to adult clothing, in a gender abolitionist world, clothing would be still be separated by sex because men's and women's bodies are different but all colors and patterns would be available in both sections. Men's clothing section would have pastel colors and floral patterns as well as what is there currently and women's section would have dark colors and plain designs. But infant and toddler clothing would not be divided into male and female because the physical differences don't matter much for clothing at that age. All the dino and construction equipment onesies and toddler tees would be mixed in with flower and bumblebee patterns. And of course, there would be no pink is for girls and blue is boys. Children would just be dressed in the colors their parents liked.
Remember the '80s, when David Bowie would dress up in crazy outfits and play up the androgynous look and didn't wave his penis in kids' faces? That was a level of weirdness I was okay with.

My question to you is: Had you ever heard of gender abolition before, and if so, do I have it all wrong? What is your take on gender roles? Should there be status quo? Some? None?
Gender abolition has been around since the 1960s-1970s. You don’t have it wrong at all. See radfems Andrea Dworkin and Shulamith Firestone. Two misogynistic crazies who wanted females to be freed from what they considered inherently patriarchal and oppressive things. Terrible things like sex, marriage, childbearing, family raising, etc.
I think it was Lorenzo Warby (on Helen Dale’s Not On Your side Substack) who said “Gender is the cultural manifestations of sex.”. Gender is strongly connected to sex, but it changes with culture. And culture always changes with available technology. Here in our Post Industrial/Digital age, gender has never been more fluid or interchangeable, really. Your sex doesn’t limit you to gendered jobs or roles anywhere near as much as it did 100, 200, 300 years ago. Tech enables sexual liberation. And arguably, tech is dehumanizing us.
But should a meteor hit and send us all back five or six hundred years you can bet that nearly all those patriarchal cultural norms that were condemned and deconstructed will come right back. Like males doing hard physical work to provide for their families and waging war over resources. Females cheerleading on the side while tending offspring and managing the domestic end of things. Those gendered jobs were practical for survival. They were winning adaptations based on bodily abilities and limits.

Sure, but that's not what I was on about, I really got hung up on this "going rupaul" statement, I don't know what's that supposed to mean. I do find it weird that I basically never see a guy dressed "all gay", as we old timers would call it, in public, but I did see a few obvious trannys in pop up in my home town in the past decade instead.
That can't be right.
I've never heard these woke assholes tell kids that'd be ok, instead they tell them if you feel like you need to do that, it's means you are woman inside.
At least that's what I gathered from those damnable grade school looking flyers and books kiwis posted over the years.
So, this slippery slope you talk about never seemed to have happened, we rolled back from lennox and bowie cringe to 2000s thug wigga then went to "you have to cut your balls off" to rock drip like prince. As I said, those gay guys you rarely see anymore, don't look any more garish than any overdone cashier Karen in her 40s. Don't care. But they're gone, it seems.
Something went wrong here and it's not a downward trend, relative to conservative views, it just got worse every-time the pendulum swang back, it seems.
And I hazard to even frame it that way, because I'm not sure how "new" this tranny stuff is - it seems old, it looks as if it was around when you could still legally rape your wife - that's a strange detail for sure. I think we should cool it on the everyday sexism when it comes to self expression and how you want to dress, but clamp down on people chugging hormones and cutting their dicks off and not roll society back into the 50s on a whole - that seems to be the thing which mind broke many folks to begin with. I might be wrong, I already sperged about that infatilism angle with trannys, but I just don't know how many less people would go for that, if it was ok for them to just mince around all natural...

Yeah I don't get it myself, it definitely seems to have accelerated over the last decade, it's like there was a concerted push to try to get society to accept and normalize the very worst impulses of humanity.
I think there are guys who do it for the same "sexual" motives as most nomral women do and then there are these certified freaks we see on here.
Hell, those bowie types mainly went with women , right? Some chicks seem to dig the lady's man, but not the ladyman(boy).
I'm ok with the former, not so much with the latter.
When they warp and misinterpret historical accounts into "look, trannys!", you will notice that the actual constant in these accounts is men who try to get with men and some of them wanting to dress funny - that's punished for reasons unclear to me.
I don't feel threatened by that, but I don't want some sick freak to pump kids full of hormones either.
The roman emperor's twink is hardly at fault for the overall roman degeneracy. Safe for elagabalus (great OP btw).
But then he was his own twink and emperor all in one - making jeffree star potus may still be a bad idea - but you get the point, I hope.

So the birth certificate posted to 4chan says the date it was issued was 2023. So that indicates that something was changed, no doubt that F in the sex box
Date issued just means date issued- they print that if you need an extra copy for some reason too, not only if something is changed. And while I wasn't able to verify this for Alberta, most locales will note that an alteration was made- even if they don't specify what- on the document. Also, who pays to change "M" to "F" but keeps "Elliott"? This is a girl with a weird hipster name. I posted stats in the A and N thread but there are a number of female Elliotts in that birth date range.

I think its been going downhill by the end of the millennium.
In the '90s the deal was that girls and boys were physically different,of course!
But that pink wasn't just for girls and anyone who wanted to could do any kind of job they could.
There was MUCH less emphasis on gendered behavior and it was just people being people.
Then the sexist rhetoric started to be pushed again with a fetishistic twist and everything has gone downhill from there.
We preached tolerance so much we tolerated shit that should have been shamed out of society.
Back in the early 2000s that was the ideal: you don't have to conform to whatever stereotypes other members of your sex exhibit to be that sex. Somewhere in the mid-2010s that mutated to "If you don't conform to those stereotypes, your internal sense of self that we'll call 'gender' is not that of your sex and you're probably trans". Have I always found drag to be highly obnoxious? Yes, but not because (according to some people) it mocks trans people; the performativity of it is just too extra for me.
I think things were made worse by drag queen Sylvia Rivera "coming out as trans" later on in life, something that TRAs went and latched onto.
I really didn't see that in the 2000s, it was all thug wigger "don't do that, that's gay!" type of stuff with the younger guys.
Shows you how demographically disparate adoption of culture or "Leitbild" really is.

I do have a thing for theater and high art, but drag really feels empty - I don't see anything but "look at me!" and "have I made you lose your shit yet?"
The gays are not doing themselves a service with that rupaul stuff. But I can def. see guys doing something better with all those high effort outfits and the skill they put into it - judging from the few airings I had to endure.
So I can't reply to Magic Pickles post but I wanted to comment on the Neck Dysphoria Troon
He mentioned having a neck as massive as Corpsegrinder from Cannibal Corpse, now I haven't even thought about that band in a very long time and couldn't possibly fathom just how big a 19" circumference was so I decided to do a little googling and......
This is what corpsegrinders neck looks like for reference for any kiwis unfamiliar with that band Also forgive me I'm mobilefagging right now and can't post a better picture
Also it's so fucking funny to me that he thinks hrt will decrease his neck size lol lmao even

As a fag it hurts me to hear this at first but then I realize that although troons have completely destroyed decades of goodwill the older generations of LGBs literally fought for, there is absolutely no reason why I can't still command respect from society as an individual who is much more than her sexuality. That isn't going anywhere. My colleagues still respect me because I do my fucking job, my neighbors like me because I'm quiet and help the old lady next door with her home maintenance out of kindness, my community is fine with me because I'm not out here making a scene and demanding they bend to my ego and fetishes (ahem, troons).
Let's be real, a lot of us made a soft return to the closet years ago. Lesbians in particular. Where there once was pride now only exists shame, shame to be associated with these freaks (and that includes homos like the ones who preyed on Desmond before puberty hit). When you say that "be kind" doesn't apply to this segment of the population I know you don't mean ME, you mean absolute faggots and degenerates. The younger generation seems unable to grasp this concept, that not everything applies to you and that things aren't black and white when it comes to other people's views.
Homos should have done a better job self-policing. If the turning tide means us normie gays have to be extra normie then I'm all for it, that should have been the goal all along. True equality is having the same expectations on you as everyone else in society: don't be an asshole, don't take more than you give, and don't be a huge fucking faggot.
I can't even wrap my head around this. "a man would never label himself as a lesbian to prey on lesbians". In what kind of universe those people live in?
