Waaaaahhhhhh trump won
You are a disingenuous retard and you have already admitted to being a fed. Why should we care about your vapid, ideological worries, when there are people in this thread who work a job and can't even afford the bills. This is why no one will ever take your doompillimg seriously. You live a more comfortable life than most but feel like your life is ending because someone dares to disagree with how you think life should be lived for everyone else.

Two issues: first are mass farmed eggs really going to be suitable for that? Those might be some very grimy eggs you're putting in that carton, and there could be health risks from handling the outsides.
The health risks are non-existent. In fact, washing eggs causes significant risk by blasting off the outer cuticle layer of the shell, which would normally prevent contamination and disease infiltrating the egg. This is why American eggs have to be chilled.

Almost no other country in the world washes its eggs. They also routinely vaccinate against salmonella now, but even before that, the risk of infection was nearly non-existent as long as you washed your hands.

like, the ingredients sort of make sense, but it just doesn't assemble into much of anything

so half-life invented dei and... ?
It looks to me like the man was a doomer all along and is simply unable to adapt to winning.

There was an instance a few years ago where at a political rally an 18-year-old affiliated the campaign of his opponents in a primary brought up some of Crenshaw's own past statements to his face and he got offended saying they shouldn't question his faith.

Here is the quote of his own making that angered the man so much:

Friendly reminder. Crenshaw is recognized in Congress as the easiest member to lead by the nose to whatever you want him to do. His extremely overinflated ego eclipses all other Congress critters is a truly impressive feat and the man sincerely believes he is owed whatever he wants.
So, USPG, What did you get done last week?
1: ordered and facilitated the buying of lumber for a new house.
2: Successfully secured a fifth family gor my growing community.
3: Successfully found work for 3 new adults in the community.
4: saw a final harvest of several good vegetables.
5: personally made a new crib for my newest great-granddaughter (who is also why I haven't been here much for the last month)

I really, really dislike executive action. It isn't about whether or not I agree with it or whether or not the president has an R or D
It's really weird because I said the same shit I'm saying now when Biden was in charge and got asspats and updoots, and now that I'm bitching about the same shit, since there's a Republican in office I'm a commie fed.
  • Dislikes executive action
  • Has said so when Biden was in charge
A post from when Biden was president:
The objectively best form of government is a total autocracy where the head of government aggressively uses the apparatus of state to preserve the freedom of the individual.
:story:
I remember one of the repeated questions when getting my security clearance

You are a Nigger

A post from when Biden was president:
From the same post:
Libertarianism is cringe because it's virtually indistinguishable from corporatocracy. You're exchanging tyranny of government for tyranny of private corporations.
The obvious implication being that in a perfect world we would have an autocrat that takes care of us while we spend all of our time doing things not related to worrying about the government. It's a utopian ideal. There's a reason it is the Kingdom of Heaven and not the Democratic People's Republic of Heaven. Imagine being such a faggot you pretend to not know what I meant by that post.
You are a Nigger
Cleverly chopping off context again.
I remember one of the repeated questions when getting my security clearance in the military
Do Trumpniggers hate veterans now?

I think they're avoiding punishing people with arrests, treason, etc, because that would play into the deep states narrative about being an evil dictator or whatever and stir up a lot more resistance on all fronts. I'm assuming punishments will come in the future once Trump is more established. Less enemies in the government, more corrupt funds removed, and more progress cementing his authority in court.

Thats my cope anyway.

I mean that's my genuine hope, too. As I said, my primary concerns are not his policies, most of which I agree with on principle (some I absolutely do not), but instead with perpetuating the executive arms race. I understand the argument that has been made here and elsewhere that we can't win if we play fair while they play dirty, but it's not that cut and dry. THE original civic nationalist, Cincinnatus, taught us this lesson over two thousand years ago when he assumed direct authority, resolved the issues plaguing the Republic of Rome, and immediately relinquished his power and went back to farming. There is precedent to have your cake and eat it, too, but I just don't trust Trump to do that. Above all he's an egomaniac. I have no confidence that towards the end of his term he will instruct Congress to limit his power so that future presidents have less overreacting authority. If he doesn't, I'm concerned that if the Republicans lose in 2028 we'll have a Democrat with the hammer that Trump helped build, and that the Democrats will be out for blood.
The problem of executive power isn't symmetric. The left was already using the executive branch to its fullest effect, up to and including using the national security apparatus and the tax agency to go after their political enemies. They'd built the machine to run on autopilot and be impervious to any attempts to change it. What Trump is doing is gutting the apparatus completely. Even if a Democrat wins in 2028, he won't be able to rebuild what Trump tore to pieces in 4 years. Trump has already done too much damage, and his administration isn't quite two months old yet.

This is a massive inflection point in American government, because the entire progressive edifice from Wilson to today was the concept of the independent government agency, an organization for executing and enforcing the laws passed by Congress over which the President has virtually no control at all. If Trump successfully dismantles this concept, and it appears he will, then after 2028, progressivism will have to fundamentally change. But there will be no rewind, no restoration. With a few key rulings by the Courts reasserting the Vesting Clause, the left's ability to make plans for government that are immune to elections will be permanently gone.

Thats my cope anyway.
There's not going to be mass arrests or anything else. "Tanks in two weeks" is a meme for a reason. The problem is that you're talking about entrenched swamp rats that know the ins and outs so well that you could spend literal years tracing the threads and end up with nothing, because it's obfuscated by a million different proxies and they never touch it themselves. The closest we ever got, unironically, was the Panama Papers, and that fizzled and died.

As much as I would love to see those responsible for gutting the US behind bars, I will settle with the apparatus being destroyed so it can never happen again.
Even if a Democrat wins in 2028, he won't be able to rebuild what Trump tore to pieces in 4 years. Trump has already done too much damage, and his administration isn't quite two months old yet.
This is a point I hadn't considered. While I don't find it completely unbelievable, I do think it's risky at best and shortsighted at worst. While it may pan out in the next few election cycles, if more permanent steps aren't taken, they will try to rebuild and entrench themselves even deeper.

So, USPG, What did you get done last week?
Work-wise

* Plunged through six months of accumulated tech debt so I could set up to
* Address security issues that users haven't yet encountered, but that would inevitably become a problem
* Implemented [redacted due to commercial confidentiality requirements but trust me bro it was awesome]
* Improved handling of unique identifier tokens
* Drank a lot of tea

Otherwise
* Plastered the living room
* Removed a[nother] tree
* Fixed an annoying issue with my home automation system (required moving a thermometer so it wasn't constantly dropping its link and not reporting when the room was at the correct temperature)
* Cleaned and re-organised the freezer
* Drank a lot of tea

I always feel better when I write down my week like this.

While it may pan out in the next few election cycles, if more permanent steps aren't taken, they will try to rebuild and entrench themselves even deeper.

They entrenched themselves by writing rules preventing the President from giving them directions or firing anyone who disobeyed. He simply asserted, "No, I'm the President, and all executive authority is vested in me. Here are your orders, and if you disobey, you're fired." Now, there is a lot riding on some inevitable Supreme Court cases. If the Court rules, "Actually, Congress can take away your power to direct your own agencies and decide who works for you," then sure, the left can retrench. If they rule, "The Vesting Clause cannot be abrogated by Congress," then the soft earth the progressive state built its trenches in becomes hard concrete, because from now on, it means anything the left builds in the government can be torn down by the next President.

The obvious implication being that in a perfect world we would have an autocrat that takes care of us while we spend all of our time doing things not related to worrying about the government. It's a utopian ideal.
And we live in the real world. Where our enemies want us broke, dead, and our kids raped and brainwashed.

In an ideal world an autocrat would come fix things. That would be the perfect solution. Since we can't have that perfect solution, you suggest we not use the bloated executive against the very people who created it.

Congressman Massie? Is that you?
