Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Even in my family the most 'patriotic' members are those that work in Scandinavia and only come back to their home country during the holidays... I don't have a clue what causes such bizarre behavior.
Non-committal observer behavior? They have skin in the game(in some countries they have a jersey, hat and scarf saying Manchester United) but they're not actually part of what is going on.

I'm wondering if the end result of any agreements is that Russia opens trade with America and does some compensation, with America getting completely out and uninvolved in the region and not bailing out Europe if they decide to play silly buggers and start WWIII
Sounds like a W for America and Russia.

And tbh: The sooner Trump decouples Ukraine from himself and his deals with the Russians, the better for him.

Ukraine ends up with no rights to its infrastructure (it belongs to America due to the shares) and no dividends (they are invested in upgrading said American-owned infrastructure), so America gets to keep all the actual profits.

It's colonization 101, really. China is doing the same to Africa.
Tbf: Still a win for Ukrainians, since they won’t die in a losing war. They’re used to getting robbed anyways. Doesn’t make a lick of difference for Volodomir in Lviv if the money goes to America rather than to Zelensky.

Russia is still going to force Ukraine to surrender. There will be zero doubt that Ukraine lost and surrendered.

And of course the missing third question: "What's in it for Russia" has had a provisional answer all along which is that Russia presumably gets what it wanted from the outset: no NATO troops on its borders and Crimea, now with added Donbass.
I’m still pretty sure it’s partly a bluff to secure at least some promise of cash.

Notice how the agreement doesn’t say a lick about guaranteeing Ukraine or defending them.

So Trump can in a month or two withdraw from the Ukraine peace track, say that he can’t do anything until elections have been held, and simultaneously hold up the deal as proof that he’s getting the money back that Biden wasted and cancel sanctions on Russia.

Sure, but Trumps fingerprints won’t be on it. “We tried to secure a peace deal, but it’s impossible to work with Zelensky. If they want us back as mediators we will consider it, but in the mean time we’re going to do what’s best for America. Which is trade deals with Russia.”

Now I'm getting the weird premonition that trump will sell guns to both sides, until the ukies fold... that shit will be a massacre... I really hope the ukies see reason, france and the other euros surely don't. Rightoids were wrong, we aren't larping through the 1920s and 30s but the 1910s. Krupp anyone?

I dont think russia will have to deal with a shortage of weapons anytime soon.

Might have to get the shortage of the bodybags tho. It's not seem to be likely that hohols will care for proper package of their fallen comrader or evacuating their bodies to handle them to the mourning relatives.
SO we have to do this job too, occasionally. Thus the shortage might happen... sigh...

I don't know... I think it would depend on how able they are to block Russia from trading with Europe via other means. Europe and Russia have been natural partners in any logical sense - Russia's natural resources and and manpower and European industry. Russia doesn't need Europe the same way Europe needs Russia, but it's still to Russia's benefit. The USA's benefit is to be Europe's sole provider and benefactor and keep them as vassal states. Recall the old line about NATO's purpose being "to keep the Americans in, the Russians out and the Germans down".

It the USA could supplant Europe as a trade partner to some degree maybe they'd want that. But I do feel it's "too soon" and more something the USA would do if their hand is forced by Europe and Russia finding ways around the USA's opposition. But as I remarked, getting Ukraine properly under their thumb goes a long way for that as far as energy supply goes. Which is the big thing. Plus it would be hard for the USA to trade with Russia whilst saying Europe couldn't. My money is on attempted continued isolation of Russia from global markets. Remember that Trump is also very keen on rebuilding the USA's manufacturing base. He's going to need foreign markets for that (Europe).

But hey, maybe you're right. I guess we'll see. The ink isn't even dry on this deal yet and the clock has probably started on Z-Man's departure so my entire wordy post could become irrelevant by next week. :)

If it's a bluff, it's one that would be pretty sweet for the USA. Something they'd actually want. I feel like the bluff / the stick was the whole "Zelensky is a dicators" stuff from last week. And that this deal is what they were bluffed into. I feel the real discussion with Russia about this deal already took place. Not in this level of detail but in terms of the Russian side of what they get in terms of land and neutrality.

I can't prove anything but I don't feel Trump is looking for just a way to extract himself and the USA from this mess. I think he genuinely wants to end this war asap and I also think he genuinely wants to get something out of this for America, not just cut their losses here.

I was thinking more about ooompf.
Manpower isn't the issue, but their "guns" don't seem to measure up to the numbers of men they were throwing into the meat grinder.
I'm pretty sure they could use one or two left over desert strom battalions of m1s.
And no, I don't think the ukies used those humongous stockpiles all up, barely, if anything.
Same for german cold war leopard 2 m2 stock ... 'member how they even fucked with hohols by just sending them a bunch of leo 1s?
Money talks and those germans love selling guns, poison gas and tanks to really just anyone when nobody looks.
And they're working diligently to align the german political landscape to trump and putin as of now.

Kek!

Apparently the US embassy leaned on Z and told him they know about his dirty deals.

Just give it time, and it’ll come out. The euro fags and RINOs will keep crying, so sooner or later Trump will let this one rip.

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, consider this justice a gift on my liberation of Kharkov day.

Give this job to Dmitry. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. I mean, we're not katsaps, in spite of what this construction worker thinks...

I wish an Iskander would find its way to one of these G7 meetings in Kyiv and liberate the West of its retarded leaders. Never in the history of Europe has there been a more reprehensible lot. I mean the autocrats were stupid before and during World War I but even they didn't flood their own countries with shitskins and niggers.

Question for anyone familiar with the region:
south odessa.PNG
What goes on down there? Is there anything important in that area? In the semi-likely event that Russia takes Odessa city it seems like this region would be available to also take because of Transnistria being just north of it. But I might be retarded cause I don't know anything about war, I'm just curious

semi-independent region where Russia, Ukraine, and Moldovia has an interest in. basically a sticky widget that would make the war more complicated.
