How would Aaron have access to the drugs, when Nick told the court in his plea agreement (crimes he admits to) that all the drugs were in the safe that was his, and only he had access to the safe? How would Aaron get the drugs if only Nick could access them?
Well. To beat a dead horse once again:
- The levels of cocaine related substances in his daughter's hair can't be explained by contact with cocaine or being around cocaine. They are too high and they indicate consumption of cocaine within the body.
- The only way to get near the levels she was tested as having would have been repeated consumption of cocaine by taking the cocaine in some form (ingesting it or snorting it presumably).
- If the daughter was provided with cocaine by Aaron which she consumed on a regular basis or otherwise accessed cocaine from some source on a regular basis, the daughter has direct knowledge of the facts associated with that.
- so if the daughter knowing consumed cocaine, she should be able under questioning to reveal the source of that cocaine.
The test is showing consumption, not environmental contact. If she consumed cocaine, she can be questioned to reveal the source. If Aaron provided her with cocaine for consumption, Nick has an easy path to proving that.
