Nobody would enter a contest to marry a whore who fucks men in a shack in the desert for money, even if you had a crush on her back when you were in high school.

EDIT: I have to laugh at how he has to emphasize that she works at a LEGAL brothel, no just some common whore.
Since we’re tapping movie tropes for Russell’s script we could have two competing brothels.

The underdog legal brothel versus the mean rich kid illegal brothel across the lake. The snobby escorts making cruel remarks about the lower income hookers would drive the plot towards the final showdown - a good old fashioned whore-off.

At least that movie would make more sense and be infinetly more funny.

He's actually said that was his inspiration for the movie, which would be a combination of Centerfold, Pretty Woman, and 50 Shades. Not sure I really want to see those combined.

Can't forget the poster:

As this poster illustrates, Russell is utterly insensitive to humor, wit, romance, or playfulness. Despite his sexual monomania, I don't think it would be quite right to say he has a dirty mind. He has such a rigid and literal-minded way of approaching the world -- almost a machinelike way. He humorlessly plods toward sex like a robot vacuum cleaner vacuuming up debris, and in my opinion he doesn't seem to have much insight into why he does it. Sure, he has a narrative about how he's disabled and how the only way for him to experience love is by having sex with prostitutes, but that's obviously implausible. It's just a justification for giving his entire life over to his sexual compulsion. He's a sex addict who never gets laid.

Of all of the creative projects Greer has valiantly half-arsed I unironically think that this is the one with the most potential to at least make him some money.
"October's Rising" or whatever the hell it was called is simultaneously fascinating and dull. It's a hodgepodge of elements from various Holocaust movies, with some things lifted outright (for instance, the scene in "The Pianist" where Nazi soldiers force ghetto residents to dance in mismatched pairs for the former's amusement). And of course one of the characters is named "Einstein," I suppose because it was the first Jewish-sounding name that popped into Russell's head. It's a prime example of what happens when you try to write about something you don't know anything about.

Is it my imagination, or did he also mention the "death coasters" in his script?

I don't think so. Firstly, because I don't remember it. And, secondly, because his script is based off a bunch of cliches he learned from "Schindler's List," 'The Pianist," and other mainstream Holocaust media; no one out of contact with the /pol/-verse even knows what a "death coaster" is.

It seems on brand for Greer.

Supposedly, "October's Uprising" was the result of a promise he made to an old man he knew (WWII vet or holocaust survivor, I don't remember) that he would make this movie so nobody would ever forget that awful time in history.

And the result was half bizarre historical rom-com and half 80s summer camp comedy.

...while skiing down the K-12! And the running gag throughout the film is a paralyzed-face kid following our hero everywhere demanding his $225!

Judging by his holocaust POW camp musical number, this film would be really fucking funny.
Is this the "Concentration Camp RomCom?" Because the public is just dying to see that one.
There are a few things in Russell's script (not in the real Sobibor movie made prior) that shows some rudimentary writing skills and knowledge of how Hollywood would adapt a true story.

-The last we see Chaim and Selma, they're happily playing with their newborn son. Russ doesn't mention that in real life, their infant son died on the boat to France and the body had to be buried at sea. But that would be a bummer, so Russ doesn't directly lie, he just omits that detail to imply they and their son lived happily ever after, just like a Hollywood "based on a true story" movie.

-Last we see Toivi during the Holocaust, he gets shot in the face by a Nazi, leading the audience to believe he died, but then, in a twist, it turns out he survived the gunshot to become Thomas "Toivi" Blatt in 2003, which I imagine would be a relief and unexpected twist to first time viewers.

-He draws on the real life fact that main character Chaim Engel died on the 4th of July to draw a parallel with the Prisoner's rebellion and search for freedom, freedom which Chaim finally found in America.
People like Mr. Greer always self insert themselves into their works of fiction.
I've said it before that October's Uprising is Russ's tribute to the survivors and the one thing he DIDN'T make all about himself! Though he calls every picture of Hitler he's sent a "death threat" as Hitler killed disabled people, his holocaust script never mentions disabled people, or whorehouses, or Taylor Swift!

Shame the rest of the script is terrible.

I'm sure he saw himself as one of the concentration camp guards with a soft heart, by letting those two star struck lovers develop a relationship against all the odds, he is the unsung hero of the story. One of those retarded angles or some such nonsense. You can't hammer a piece of shit into a diamond.

This year he releases his movie. Who's excited? (also the IMDB page for that movie is broken)

Yet another example of just how horribly out of touch Shit-Lips is compared to normal people. How is anyone besides porn-brained creeps and losers like Russhole supposed to identify with a film like this? I'm pretty sure most guys who found out their high school crush/girlfriend is now renting out her cooch at a brothel would be completely turned off by the knowledge and it would sour their memories of the girl.

My favorite part was when his concentration camp romcom sex scenes were literally torn from an incredibly disturbing rape scene in the Stephen King short story Apt Pupil

My boy Russ would never reduce a woman to such a thing, not in his writing and not in his interactions with them on his social media.

Finally! Becky can stop being a stuck up bitch who thinks she’s too good for me and accept $$$ so I can bang her like a normal chick.

What? She wants $$$$? Oh no! This is like high school all over again! Damn you Beckyyyyy!

In the same way as deathfats don’t want to lose weight, they want to be skinny… Russ doesn’t want to win a lawsuit, he wants to be in litigation. That’s what gets him the instant feel-important gratification. He doesn’t want to do any work to maintain that status. And that way, if the litigation keeps going forever, he never has to lose.

I'm not fully sure I can buy that as true. I think Russ really does want to win and has delusions of grandeur that make him believe that this is possible, but is too incompetent to ever achieve any kind of legal victory. I think he has a cargo cult approach to law where he believes that the motions he goes through should be effective and generally does not understand why they fail time and again. You can see this in his legal filings where he tries to grab arguments or reasoning used or applied against him in previous cases. He does this not because it's necessarily appropriate, but he he saw that it worked previously and believes that it can work for him this time.

I do think you're correct with the assessment that being a lawyer or just in a lawsuit makes him feel important about himself, but he's lost practically everything and had to suffer humiliation as a result. The other thread exists mainly to laugh at his terrible filings and he seems to try to DMCA strike any channel that covers them, so he understands that these legal filings bring negative attention to him and cause trauma lumps. He's even facing monetary sanctions in the latest case, which given his current financial situation has to weigh on his mind.

It really comes back to him being deluded. He's like a gambling addict that keeps feeding money into the machine thinking that surely this time it will pay out. A rational person would realize that nothing good has come from his past actions and that there's little reason to think that the next time would be any different, but Greer is impervious to such thoughts. He thinks that he'll definitely win his next lawsuit, just like he thinks the next instagram model he harasses will talk to him, just like his next song will bring him fame and acclaim. He's basically Charlie Brown thinking he's finally going to kick the football for sure this time no matter how many times Lucy has pulled it away.
