From what I've seen, this is just another tactic Alex likes to use. Deflect attacks by using "humor". The idea behind this is that if we're laughing with Alex, we won't be laughing at Alex.

Its easy to tell the difference between his real stuff and the fake stuff because when he gets worked up his autism gets triggered, okay? He talks... He talks... He talks a certain way, okay?

When he's trying to be "LOL RANDOM" he talks with a different energy. You can hear it in his voice he is holding back his laughter because he's hilarious in his own mind.

So, yes, calling Toji his wife is an act. An attempt to "win back" his haters through humor.

It's not so wrong that we do both. I have had some seriously side hurting laughs from this whole thing and I don't think that's wrong. I agree, Alex is playing some of this up for his infamy fame but that doesn't change the fact we're laughing. I've loved being a part of this the whole way through Alex, genuinely.
