Trump is right Ukraine is not in the place to negotiate and all the options before it are not good (Russia's a larger nuclear state with a massive army, a willing population and men to spare, Ukraine won't even to a mass mobilization and furthermore Zelenski isn't that popular at home. and Ukrainian men are dying at an unreplaceable rate).

However today's shit show is 50/50 on vance and Zelenski. Vance should have kept his mouth shut and let trump do the talking. Vance thinks he's smart when he's really not. Vance should not have engaged after Zelenski's response . And Zelenski should have kept his mouth shut when vance brought up the diplomacy thing. What Zelenski was saying was true, but a simple "Who knows what the future will hold" or some "non answer" would have been fine. Fuck he could have just kept his mouth closed.


Regardless this spat should have been behind closed doors and vance should be a short as fuck leash
