Ok, in all seriousness, bird strikes have happened before. Same with less serious stuff like smoke in cockpit. I've had a flight delayed because of smoke in cockpit while on the ground. Am I the only one that thinks the catastrophisizing of the most minor incidents after the major incidents in DC and Philly is a psyop to get people to not fly? Any country retarded enough to invade the US through Alaska is going to find out how bad of a decision that was. Weather non withstanding we have multiple military bases there and Alaskans are chomping at the bit to go Simo Hayha and the terrain would be a nightmare to traverse
