That's why I really wish news agencies would stop using tranny courtesy pronouns for people suspected of criminal behavior - it really muddies the facts of what the hell happened and falsely attributes male criminal behavior to women, which means if you're using these stories to log statistics you have to read between the lines to figure out what the heck happened. Bad journalism IMO; you're not required to write an article the defendant in these situations would approve of.

A driver shot during a road rage incident in Louisville is the one facing charges.
The incident started Wednesday morning at Taylor Boulevard and Beecher street and was caught on the road rage victim's dash camera. According to police, Graham Bain was driving aggressively and cut off another vehicle multiple times. Bain chased that vehicle, too, LMPD said. A police report said that behavior caused the other driver to fear for the safety of their passengers — three girls — and fire a shot at Bain's car. During the chase, the driver's car got disabled on Carlisle Avenue near Taylor Boulevard. The driver then had Bain at gunpoint and demanded Bain stop. But when Bain appeared to put the car back in gear, the driver fired multiple shots, hitting Bain in the abdomen, police said.

Specifically: the Trans Doe project nominally exists to raise the public profiles of unidentified dead people who may have been trannies or cross-dressers. Basically any poor bastard who kicks the bucket while wearing gender-nonconforming clothing or who had really nice eyebrows in life can get claimed by these fools, who at least claim they advocate to have the deceased properly identified.
But I don't know if they actually do anything productive or if they're only actually good at generating performative outrage, as trannies are wont to do.
Since there are a ton of unidentified dead people in America, many of whom have been unidentified for decades and many of whom were victims of violent crime, and traditional investigative methods are often exhausted before an identity can be determined, multiple organizations have sprung up dedicated to finding this information through DNA-based genealogy.
A whole bunch of people have been identified by running their DNA profiles against the information uploaded to consumer DNA websites like 23andMe. So a ton of families whose relatives vanished off the face of the earth in 1975 or whatever have been able to determine where these people ended up, the broad outlines of what happened to them, and maybe even who did it to them. A handful of the crimes have been solved this way, with perpetrators being put in prison after decades of thinking they had got away with it.
Overall, these services are very productive and a net benefit to society, so I'm not shitting on the efforts of people who actually get this stuff done.
Let's say an unknown man's dead body is found wearing a skirt. Investigators fail to find out who the fuck this guy was, so they upload his information into a national database as "Unknown male, [basic age range, physical characteristics, how he likely died, location and circumstances of discovery], found wearing [a spinny skirt, stuffed bra, etc.]."
The Trans Doe initiative has put up a big stink to have all such deceased people reclassified as "trans", and listed under the gender they may have been pretending to be rather than the biological sex they actually were.
In several instances, it worked, specifically with one dead tranny referred to as "Julie Doe." <- Google if you want some dark hilarity.
Recently, however, all of that has been undone and law enforcement has changed a lot of those profiles back to display the dead person's biological sex. (Based cops.)
The Trans Doe people are seething, dilating, and failing to cope about it.
I genuinely don't know what they're trying to accomplish.
They argue that those who may have known the dead person in life would have likely known them under their fake identity as the opposite sex, so if they were browsing a database or something, wouldn't connect their missing friend or w/e with a dead body listed as their actual biological sex.
But ...
1. Is there any fucking chance any of these dead people actually passed? Trannies rarely pass now; they certainly wouldn't have passed in 1970, 1985, 1999, or 2010.
If someone was invested enough in a missing friend or acquaintance to look for them in a database of unidentified remains, I doubt they would be at all confused about the fact this person was really a man in a dress.
2. Related to point 1, most people in bygone times weren't "trans" the way they are now. Maybe they cross-dressed at home or while out cruising, but they didn't live full-time as the opposite sex anyway.
3. The people most likely looking in an unidentified dead-body database for a missing person are probably that person's own family members. They would know what that person's biological sex was, and unless they were legitimately retarded, would search the database accordingly.
Especially if the person had left home and cut contact with their relatives specifically to move somewhere else and live out their fetish, the family might not even know JimBob had reinvented himself as Bobbie Soxx and had been living as a full-time AGP or w/e. Even if they did, they would have no way of knowing if JimBob got whacked when he was in "boy mode" and his body was correctly identified as his actual sex in the database.
So tl;dr it makes the most sense to list unidentified dead people as their actual biological sex and just note that they were found wearing a dress, with their tits ace-bandaged flat, or whatever the case may be. It makes no sense, even negative sense, to list them as the opposite sex or even as "trans" at all.
That's not offensive to the person's memory; I think it's more offensive to let them decay as a John or Jane Doe because activists are too proud to face biological reality, but I'm just based like that.
Trannies are wailing, foaming, and catastrophizing over nothing, as usual.
I'm heavily annoyed with this specific instance because it's something I know a lot about.

On April 1 of last year, 29-year-old Janiah Monroe was transferred from Pontiac Correctional Center, a prison for men, to women’s prison Logan Correctional Center after the MacArthur Justice Center and the Uptown People’s Law Center (UPLC) filed a lawsuit against the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) on his behalf.
Named Andre Patterson before he began identifying as a woman, Mr Monroe’s extensive criminal record includes convictions for second-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery and attempted aggravated arson. He is currently serving time for 11 felonies.
At age 17, Mr Monroe had an argument with his male jail cellmate, 31-year-old Kimani Muhammad, and strangled him to death. At the time of the homicide, Mr Monroe was being held on suspicion of aggravated battery with a firearm after shooting two people outside a barber shop.
Two months after the transfer to Logan, Mr Monroe, who still has intact male genitalia, was placed in a cell with a woman whom he immediately began “express[ing] an interest” in. According to the lawsuit, the woman was terrified of Mr Monroe due to his much greater size and strength. Mr Monroe overpowered and raped her that day, she said.
Following the incident, the woman was moved into the prison’s Health Care Unit and interviewed by internal affairs officers. Todd Sexton, a supervisory officer, told the woman he did not believe her and coerced her into providing a statement in which she retracted the rape allegation, she said. She was then subjected to months of punishment by the IDOC for filing a false complaint under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA). The victim has filed a federal lawsuit against several prison employees, including officers Mr Sexton and Brent Keeler and warden Beatrice Calhoun.
The IDOC attempted to return Mr Monroe to Pontiac shortly after the purported rape. However, just as he was being escorted by van from the gates of Logan, the governor’s office intervened, and US District Court Judge Michael Mihm issued an injunction barring the return of Mr Monroe to the men’s facility, where Mr Monroe claims he had been subjected to “sexual harassment” over the course of 10 years of imprisonment. I think Julie Doe’s remains were genuinely mistaken for a woman’s, but for the sensible reason that the body had breast implants, so investigators logically thought it must be female. The remains were in fairly poor condition if I recall correctly, and no genitals remained (no one knows if the Doe had had genital surgery or still had a penis before death). I agree that the facial images look totally male, of course, but suspect the reason for the original error was the presence of implants and the - at the time - perfectly legitimate inference that only a female would have them.
The shit flinging over classification of Does under their natal sex is totally insane, I agree. It actively harms their chances of being identified to falsify their classifications for BS ideological reasons.
