i genuinely never thought i would get a president in my lifetime who actually makes strides to reduce the national debt. every single one, republican or democrat, has said they would and then gave 200 trillion to fighting homophobia in botswana or some shit.

there are many blackpills ahead but i'm happy i voted for trump just for this alone
How young are you? Bill Clinton is well known for being good at cutting the deficit.

Somebody wants a war with Russia one way or another.
I don't think it's about forcing a war with Russia here. I think it's that Turkey "won" the syrian civil war with an army of jihadis and now Israel is panicking at the prospect of Palestine #2 but 10x bigger showing up next door. Turkey openly shirks international pressure in favor of its own internal goals, so trying to keep Russia nearby is a foolhardy attempt at keeping Turkey in line.

Personally, I think Russia is pulling out of Syria one way or another. The bases aren't worth the hassle of dealing with Syrians and Turks. Why on earth the Jews think that the US has any role in deciding if the Russians keep those bases is beyond me. This just looks like confirmation to me that Israel had next to no role in turning over Syria to the jihadis. This was all a Turk operation.

ah yes. Because removing the debt ceiling bodes well.

that's why I added the qualifier "in my lifetime." all I ever heard about clinton was him shoving a cigar up monica lewinsky's vagina. i'm vaguely aware he did some good during his presidency but it seems like the oval office sex incident has basically defined his presidency

??? i'm talking about DOGE not the debt ceiling nigger

Was anyone else here just kind of watching 2024 and enjoying it from an outsider perspective until they tried to kill Trimp? Looking back I think that was the democrats and RINOs biggest mistake. Mainly it was a mistake because it showed EVERYONE ELSE that the left was so unhinged they would cheer for political violence.

For me personally it was an "ohh shit they are shooting us next" kind of moment that forced me to attack every liberal and fence sitter I know relentlessly with facts and logic until they changed their views or blocked me from their life. It was for the best and more a self defense thing since those people are no longer considered safe to be in the presence of.

The failed Trump assassination activated something in me. I went from keeping tabs on politics, to closely following them.

Not gonna lie, former Trump voter here. This is fucking hilarious watching Trump crash and burn. But in all seriousness we can't let this guy get the nuclear codes.
You want to add anything to the discussion? Just here to show TDS?

Hey cool since your a former Trump supporter your not influenced by the liberal media and can see how they twist nearly every story about Trump to make him seem bad. I am interested to see someone whos not going to give a boilerplate "huuur reupublicans dumb" answer.

What do you think is different about your political views compared to those that still support him?
