Flashback to the time last year some guy claimed to have a working PC port only to be exposed as a clout chasing script kiddy who was repackaging a barely modified emulator and ended crashing out and DFE after getting called out by everyone within the span of a day. This made port made me realize if this shit can be done for PS3 games we might also get a PC recomp for metal gear solid 4 before konami makes MGS collection Volume 2 and that would be very funny ngl

I got some good news for everyone. Lauded Sonic Unleashed mod Like a Werehog works on the Recompiled port and it was just updated today.

P.S. The Gaiden add-on is currently not compatible, but the modder is aware of this and working on it as we speak. All mods that work for the console version also work on the PC version.
EDIT: Extreme Edition is for the PC version and has everything. Go fucking wild.

I get there's precedent with N64, but the N64 is such a weird old platform that it's not really the same. This is a big change in backward-compatibility/emulation approach, and it's shocking to me that the folks in the lead here are pushing Sonic Bloody Unleashed with it, of all things.

No. They decompiled the mobile ports of Sonic 1 and 2, the re-release of CD, made a custom engine for 3 and Knuckles, remade Sonic 06, Secret Rings, and more. The only mainline game without a PC port is Shadow the Hedgehog, but it can be easily emulated and has the Reloaded mod.
