Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Here’s a question, what does the US gain by having this war go on? Only reply if you are an American whose taxes have been funding the war, funding their government to function, and paying Ukrainian pensions (I’d like to thank you)
Especially once we withdraw support, annihilating the European Union's collective military resources that they pour into Ukraine, buck breaking them politically in their weakest moment, and then truly making them vassal states by joining forces with Russia to pressure them at both ends through complete energy dominance. Party like it's 1945 again, because we're going to divide up Europe into a grab bag of subservient states who know their place.

Picture this, a future where smarmy EU bureaucrats no longer exist. A future where Europe works for the collective benefit of the West and gets told to stfu about social welfare and human rights. A future where the god damned French are forced to consume American cheese products and fake a smile. A future where the EU only trades with whomever we allow them to.

And if the Europeans raise so much as a peep about this being unfair, Russia and the US shuts off the oil, gas, and uranium exports to them until they've learned their place.

In short, the total destruction of an independent Europe is at stake if this is played correctly. They'll be nothing more than tokens to be traded between the great powers.

You make it sound like European leaders have pushed this war to the point that if when they lose the war their nations will collapse into anarchy. Surely that can't happen, right?

This could be a translation issue, in Russian (Zelensky's native language) the word for costume (like you wear for Halloween) and suit (like a business suit) is the same (костюм). And it is read "costume".

So he could have meant to say "I'll wear a suit when the war is over" but because of a problem with synonyms and translation it comes out sounding like he considers wearing a suit something clownish.
You know, that's an interesting point and I could believe that, but I also can't believe that because this motherfucker is a European head of state. I'd think he'd be fluent enough in English to not make a mistake like that. Could be wrong, though. I've heard other things pointed out that Zelenskyy maybe wasn't (accounting for stuff like that) as rude as he came across.

Personally, I hope nothing gets signed because that will make the state of the union address in 2 more days that more exciting to watch.

I am assuming the americans mining will be after the peace agreement is signed which we still don't know what it will be? Russians still can technically allow Americans to mine after the war depending on what they control. But Trump is still not stating what will he ensure to the Russians that the Ukrainians won't act up again.

we'll get minerals from both the ukraine and russia. if there are any minerals in the ground anyway. the best part of the deal is that the ukraine can't fuck us with their judicial bribery system because then we'll crush them with economic sanctions; we'll fuck those silly hohol whores like ukrainian women.

But behind the hugs was a hard warning to the Ukrainian leader that the path to any durable peace runs though the White House and that Zelenskyy must start talking to Trump again and sign a deal to hand over some future mineral rights in his country to the US.
  1. Europe wants independence from US
  2. Acts though and vitue signals about stronk Europe
  3. US doesn't get involved anymore
  4. Europe immediately begs America to reconsider
It is just sad how shallow the Eurocrats are and that Europe is ruled BPD bureaucrats. All this virtue signaling but the second America doesn't want to cooperate, all of Europe instantly starts begging to America to reconsider. This entire article is just European leaders silently admiting that they cannot do anything without America, sad.

Do the Ukrainians not have maps? Do they not have something that they can look at and go "hey this looks like a death cauldron forming, we should protect the sides and/or evacuate the soldiers"?
Their doctrine seems to be the same as the late-war Wehrmacht, to hold ALL ground at ALL costs under ANY circumstances and only pull back if they're rendered completely combat ineffective, and even then only sometimes.

That always ends well.

I remember reading a post war account of a German civilian who said he realized that the war was lost when the propaganda boasting the Wehrmacht's "great victories" stopped moving beyond Germany's borders and instead started to get closer to home.

Seems like the mastermind that is Zilanskiiyiyi has found a way to overcome that little obstacle; you don't have to worry about your army being pushed back if you just let your army dissolve itself at the contact line
