A group of moderate Democrats met and put out a document saying what the party should do to reconnect to working class voters.
Messaging, messaging, messaging, STOP FIGHTING, messaging, messaging. Just another group completely missing the point.

Activist groups and progressive staffers push unpopular cultural positions, making it seem like Democrats are more extreme than they actually are.

So you're going to ditch the niche groups and disown them, right? You're going to come out and fight against their radical agendas that make you look extreme? No? You're not going to admit you were wrong, just change the MESSAGING again?

You are not "less extreme" just because you are an enabler instead of a pusher. Fuck off.

The meeting was put together by a think tank known as Third Way.

Wait, wasn't that the old Clinton wing of the party in the 90s? I thought they disappeared along with Bush's "compassionate conservatism".

Making the 2nd largest country in the world into a single state has got to be up there with Trump's most imbecilic ideas. There are children who grew up drinking lead paint that are capable of higher brain function than he is.

And the best (worst?) part is that it'll never happen. An entire country surrendering its sovereignty, and along with it, hundreds of years of individuality, culture, and history? I can't begin to comprehend the sheer insanity within this man's ailing, shriveled brain.

He wants to be Putin so bad he's trying to turn Canada into Ukraine. I can't think of a better way to describe it.
How precious! You're the gift that keeps on giving! You go, girl! Slay kween!

He’s coming for you. There’s no escape.

He's a specific Japanese trope called an otonokoko -- a Femboy in modern western terms, or Trap if you want to use a forbidden term (Trannies don't like the implication AND think they look like Anime girls). Not a faggot, just a cross dresser. This trope is not uncommon in Japan, and Bridget was THE first and most iconic example of this trope.
Bridget never was the first femboy or trap as both tropes have been around since at least the 1970ies in manga, anime, and later in the 1980ies, video games.
What the fuck is wrong with the Japanese?
In the case of Bridget, the rationale was rather innocuous in that the creator had wanted a "cute character" but not a girl. Also, since the cute girl character spot was already filled by May and trying to do something different instead of same old, same old. As discussed in an interview done shortly after the release of Guilty Gear X2.

Wonder if they'll make snide, snarky posts on reddit like the last bunch of feds given the same offer did before they got shitcanned with no parachute.
We're talking about libshit teachers. There's no way they won't smugpost on reddit.

I waited two years to create this account on 9/11. On 9/11 in 2023 registering accounts was disabled. And then, after finally registering the account, I got bored with it almost immediately.

Can you do anything right?

It uses the same term but I don't think Clinton is involved with it at all. Third Way was apparently founded as Americans for Gun Safety but then changed its name in 2005. The think tank as of late is notable for getting into a legal dispute with No Labels, an organization who tried to get a presidency campaign off the ground in 2024 but never could.

Let's just say a little bit of political skullduggery may of been at play:
“We can just rig our own poll to make it look as shit as possible…”

“Block signature-gathering…”

“Make [them] seem like they might be totally crazy/right-wing wackos to mid-low-info voters…”

“Hijacking their ballot line and pushing extremist candidates to muddy [their] brand…”

The above quotes are just a few excerpts from incredible documents made public after a long court fight. Details of a plan to “shun,” “stigmatize,” and “destroy” the third party No Labels suggest a Rosetta Stone of corruption, showing groups aligned with the Democratic Party using dirty tricks and elaborate fakery to attack anyone in their electoral path, all while presenting themselves as “pro-democracy” forces.
The actual No Labels was and is more of a centrist pushback against both parties. Its leading voices included Lieberman and former NAACP chief Ben Chavis, who together that year published “Donald Trump Must Never Again Be President” on the real No Labels site. The imitator, meanwhile, prominently featured a photo of Trump and identified TikTok phenomenon Tyson Draper as a “No Labels Senate Candidate,” even though No Labels was not supporting congressional candidates. The Delaware suit accused the imitator site of “deceiving the public” and “sowing confusion about what No Labels stands for,” and sought emergency relief.

Right after that filing, on December 19th last year, Semafor published details of an 80-minute conference call between Democratic Party-aligned activist groups. Attendees included the aforementioned Mehlhorn, prominent neoconservative Bill Kristol, and representatives of Third Way, Move On, and “the Lincoln Project, American Bridge, Public Citizen, and Reproductive Freedom for All.” The piece said attendees agreed on an all-out strategy to stop the No Labels bid by sending the chilling message:
If you have one fingernail clipping of a skeleton in your closet, we will find it… We are going to come at you with every gun we can possibly find. We did not do that with Jill Stein or Gary Johnson, we should have, and we will not make that mistake again.
Former Emily’s List chief Emily Kane, now of Third Way, wrote a letter after the discussion reported on by Semafor, summing up the conclusions of what she called, in the subject line, the “Anti-No-Labels Coalition meeting.” Notably acknowledging they were indeed “working together as a broad coalition” to “fight the anti-democratic operation that is No Labels,” it added without irony that this fight for democracy should also include “deterring other third party presidential efforts.” Groups identifying themselves as “pro-democracy folks” saw no contradiction in an organized effort to prevent people other than their candidate from participating in elections.

You don't understand the situation at all. Trump came into Canada expecting to force them to pay tariffs equivalent to what they charge the US. He expected negotiations and requested to be made. What he got instead, was Trudeau flat out saying that would bankrupt Canada and it would cease being a country. Trudeau's communistic policies and desire to be like China have successfully bankrupted the country because unlike China they don't have the manufacturing and the negotiation power from that to levy themselves on the world stage. Their economy is simply far weaker than China's and weaker than even the Trump administration expected. At that point, Trump just responded with, why are they even still a country if they can't fiscally survive without what's essentially welfare checks from the US? A question that caused Trudeau to IMMEDIATELY announce his resignation the very next fucking day. I don't think you understand how shocking this is. Trudeau full on admitted the Emporer had no clothes. His country is far weaker than anyone imagined. It's on par with Mexico. Or worse.

It's not that Trump is going annex Canada. It's just that at the rate Canada's crashing, it's naturally going to happen. You think the housing crisis in the US is bad? The crisis in Canada is 3x worse. Rent in Montreal far and away outpaces New York and New Jersey, two of the most notoriously expensive states in the country. Canada is slowly morphing into a hell hole and it's 1000% the fault of the Trudeau Administration. It's not so much that Trump has to conquer and annex Canada, the country is just on the verge of falling apart naturally. It won't be some great conflict or vote will take place. For the average person, they will literally wake up to the news and see "Canada has officially become a US territory". Overnight, they will become Cold Puerto Rico.

When the team autobalance is way off.

Whoever made this map lives in one of the grey contintments. Or even India. So retarded. You literally cannot EVEN COMICALLY call all those countries bad guys then leave out South America, Africa and Australia. Either that or they didn't research anything about their governments and militaries (likely).

Shows up as September 10 for me; probably because you're European and thus using that time zone.
