Dude police in America are easy enough to get along with as long as you don't go full fucking retard. Don't go sov cit, and you'll basically get through any encounter with minimal damage. Half the times they can write a ticket they wont, because you were nice and explained you didn't know your tailight was busted or whatever. Other parts of the world they just fuck you in the ass.

There are no lawfags here, or on lawfagtube, who really could predict it. Unless some rooftop Korean lawfag with intimate knowledge shows up, we don't know. It's more of a diplomatic than a legal issue anyway.

That said, he's facing serious time, and he's seriously unpopular.

So they could do anything from just expel him from the country permanently to sentencing him to pick cabbages/cotton for several years.
