Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

>yoyr people will die
>youre on an island, you don't feel it but you will

Yeah no these were threats.

The new Al Qaeda ISIS ISIS-K but this time they have a large number of supporters; a fifth column if you will. I have been warning about this when the retards began the Slava Ucraina bullshit in the US. Americans never learn.

Trump is the democratically elected President of the United States. Don't like it?

Go back to the Ukraine.

Eh it wasn't a threat, it was a stupid doomposting.

Zelensky didn't say he would send 1488 Azov Atomwaffen Assassins who would fart out chernobyl gas and destroy the US mainland.

He just said that if they don't stop Da Ruski Orks the US would be negatively affected.

Which was not a nice thing to say to the one giving you your gibsmedat on public tv. Maybe it was a point best brought up in closed doors with more window dressing.

It was stupid to say it, but it was hardly a threat on his behalf.

Now what interests me is how Trump's nato stance will make Eucrats act.

Not only that, but they withdrew their own intelligence from Ukraine
"The US has cut off intelligence-sharing with Kyiv in a move that could seriously hamper the Ukrainian military’s ability to target Russian forces, according to officials familiar with the matter."

I cannot find any other (non-Russian) source reporting on this. Does anyone have any more info about that "cabinet briefing"?

I don't know much about tanks developed during WW2, but you don't seem to understand what gasoline-electric means. It doesn't mean a plug-in hybrid, it means an engine rotating at a constant RPM (most effective range) riding a generator, which in turn drives an electric motor. With the optional battery buffer. Like most non-electric trains these days, or a bunch of heavy ships (some still drive the propeller directly).
So they don't need an electric network, they need fuel.
Germany had plans similar to this in the 40’s. The Maus tank was so heavy normal bridges couldn’t bear its weight so it was being designed to cross rivers in pairs. Tank 1 would close all water tight hatches and run an electrical cord to the second tank, which would feed it power as it drove under the water and across the river. Once on the other side, pop open the hatches, fire up the motor and supply power for tank 2 to close hatches and drive across using your supplied power.

While this works on a drawing board, all it takes is one well placed saboteur to destroy the cable mid crossing and trap the first tank under the water and the second tank has no one to help it cross, preventing its movement across the river unless another tank shows up to help.

Not to mention battery tech is shit. Try towing in a cybertruck and enjoy the 158 mile range you have before recharging instead of 500 miles and thats in decent weather. Put this tech into a 60 ton main battle tank and enjoy the short drive before you need a recharge. The diesel electric train model where the engine runs at best for it speed and drives a generator to power an electric drive motor works, sure. But they are heavy. As another pointed out thats weight that could be used for armour and anti-drone protection.

Put a small nuclear power plant onboard to eliminate a need for exhaust and the idea could work, but as it stands now you’re still limited by the arrival of the fuel truck to keep your tank moving.

Might be a bit unrelated, but does anyone else experience problems with 4chan at the moment? I use it for quick rundowns for any new news happening, but it seems that the website is unable to update its catalogue, and I keep seeing the same items from over 10 hours ago. 🤔

*edit*
I guess it solved itself a minute after I posted this. Disregard.

The website is a piece of shit duct-taped together with hopes and dreams. No wonder it doesn't work.

Can't find it at the moment, but I saw John Ratcliffe quoted that all of this is conditional on Zelensky delivering 500 Ukrainian maidens to The White House, or words to that effect.

In the meantime, intelligence is almost certainly being passed from DC to London to Kiev. It's not like Britain has been expelled from the Five Eyes alliance.

All of this would be academic, but if I'm a member of the Russian General Staff, I would find this continued ambiguity maddening. Put too much stock in Trump's latest position, and you run the risk of Trump rug-pulling you. Imagine ordering an offensive on the assumption of Ukraine's collapse, only to wake up the morning before d-day to see Trump post: "Had GREAT party with REAL UKRAINIAN patriots who really want to MAGA! ALL AID TO BE RESUMED IMMEDIATELY! Slava Ukraine and have fun!"

Isn't Novyny Ukrainian owned? Or is that source line just referencing the photo of the soldier.
Quick google search seems to indicate it is indeed Ukrainian owned MSM, though I highly doubt the validity of that screenshot since I couldn't find the original article referencing that.

Can't imagine it being a popular decision, they're not even finished with their 18 year old draft plans since they're still in the "asking nicely" phase with the contract stuff they're trying to sell them.

Even assuming its true, I can't imagine Europe standing beside literal child soldiers either. Assuming this is true, more likely the thought is to register these boys as still being in Ukraine, so they can draft them at 18, to prevent any more flight from the country. Extremely optimistic to think they'll still be in a position to draft anyone in another four years, but what's a government for if not to do pointless things that pretend to solve problems.

Who exactly is in this "Coalition of the Willing"?
I know who met together, but who is actually "in" - whatever that means. Let say: continuing the war?
The UK, France, Canada, Germany (yes, but no troops?), Poland (yes, but no troops?), Italy (no clue where Meloni stands), the EU (with its money printer), Spain(?), who else?

Not that it matters that much, but who else is in the "Coalition for Peace" with the US?
The US, Hungary, Italy (?), Slovakia, the Vatican (?), anyone else?

Honestly this would be a bigger problem if the war was actually stalemated. As it is, the Russians have a working formula that the US can't stop that's getting the results they want (albeit slowly.) I'm sure there's at least one "keep doing what we're doing, await further instructions about diplomatic developments, don't do anything retarded -xoxoxo S. Lavrov" memo out there.

Interesting if true.

Smart tbh. Keep making new fronts and small incursions that they have to respond to with their dwindling resources. And if they don’t, well: Advance and reinforce.

Also:

Fucking smart if true. That’s how you’d break Zelensky’s grip on power: Sanctions. Force his oligarchs to take sides. Shouldn’t be hard to find evidence of corruption as an official reason.

Granted, it didn’t work against Russia, but the situations aren’t really comparable.
