Funnily enough the current blip can be condensed down to normies wanting their money out of US stocks and more into global funds because they don't trust the US. But they're just a drop in the ocean compared to investment funds (including the ones people are selling their Microsoft and Amazon stocks to buy shares in) who have BILLIONS in US stocks as they're aware that the US economy is stronger than God himself.

And that is conditioned on the idea that such an authoritarian shift could be trusted to revert back to a Republican system of government, and not just maintain power out of fear of the pendulum shifting back. If the American mass consciousness loses faith in its civic virtues and constitution, it will lose what made this country exceptional imo. I don't want this country to turn into a Banana Republic where nothing matters anymore. I don't want the United States to become unsalvageable and its people opportunistic nihilists.
