At right around 2 hours and 5 minutes. Like 2:05:30. He brings up something I think could genuinely be hilarious. That I don't think I have seen anyone do. Not saying it hasn't been done. But I haven't seen it.

Trolling porn live stream chats. To make the only fans or whatever people crash out. I imagine it would be hard to post clips of it happening most places though.

Also bring back slut shaming.

Actually really interesting interview. With the developer of ladybird. For those that don't know they are trying to make a browser that isn't using chromiums webengine, or webkit. Right now it's still pre-alpha still. So not really in a state currently where it's recommended to use.

At 1:13:00

they ask why he left apple. It was 2017, so right after Trump got elected, and a lot of the staff essentially started going into trump derangement syndrome. And him being a non American. Didn't really like that atmosphere.

At about 1:00:00.

He talks about the difficulties right now with finding a browser. Outside of the current model. That is basically selling all of your users data to advertising companies.

Earlier in the interview there is a lot of talk about just some challenges that come along with changing specifications for how things used on the web are written. Like css. About why they ended up moving from c++ to swift to write it. And talk a bit about why they didn't choose rust. (Mostly because the web tends to be more object oriented, so using a language like rust to write a browser ends up leading to an unnatural way of writing rust, which is a more functional language).

If you care about this kind of thing worth the watch. But those two timestamps are what I recommend otherwise.

I figured it might be a good idea to add a bit of context to the browser. This is something that happened a bit early on in it becoming a thing. Right after it started to get funding. Coincidentally.

Essentially the dev, said they wanted to keep the browser politically neutral. And people started running wild with it. Said he was a transphobe because of it. Started coming out with other crazy allegations at the time.

I do believe this was the same group of people that have constantly caused problems in the open source community. And I have my own schizo theories about them. Though what is clear is they cause shit everywhere.

Popularize shaming men who fund Onlyfans-type websites and participate in prostitution.
Why can't I do both?

"Ladybird" sounds like tranny shit. He should just change the name into something more neutral or creative.

Completely agree with Null on Andrew Tate and his brother. The man is literally a rapist who brags about trafficking women and yet so many right-wing people have just embraced him as if he's just another guy. Utterly bizarre and repulsive how many just ignore how evil he is because he has a large platform and sometimes parrots RW talking points.

I listened to the Swans "The Seer" album.
HOLY FUCK SHIT MY DUDE. Thats a great fucking album. The whole discography sounds like The Residents, Dan Deacon, Pink Floyd's "Atom Heart Mother", and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I'm really into this now!
