I kind of disagree. Trump is an absolutely hypersensitive faggot who can't receive any criticism without responding, but he does grasp that you don't defend yourself on your sore point, instead you just attack something about the other guy.

And he's played that extremely well. He usually gets the other guy on the defensive, or even in a tard rage.

Musk just outright exposes his insecurities, inviting attacks on those very insecurities. That makes him the real lolcow of the two.

I think a greater strength in Trump's camp is people opposing him often have no idea what he's talking about and he feels little reason to elaborate. You can't really respond coherently to an argument you don't understand.

For guys like Musk, that doesn't quite work as they'd be used to trying to get their point across so the other person understands your logic, which then makes it possible for critics to dismantle his arguments if they want.

This also carries over to Trump's staff where they'll try repeating some vague Trumpian platitudes in interviews, only to blurt out occasionally what an actual action or position of Trump's or the White House is and create a bit of chaos as people go "wait they're doing what now?".

It may true that a majority of the "MAGA" crowd loves Elon, but virtually no one else does. Perhaps Trump wants to play to that 25% of the American people for his whole presidency, even as the majority of the country hates what Elon is doing, but at some point Elon's unpopularity is going to spill over to Trump. Maybe that's when he realizes it's time to toss Elon overboard. But then again, maybe The Donald doesn't care anymore, and is just going full-on mask-off fascist?

Elon is a cheerleader for a lot of influencers that Trump's people like and is eager to help cut the bureaucracy quite a bit. So he's got a lot going for him to keep him ingrained in Trump's circle.

If you wanted him out he'd have to be defending H1Bs hard like he was a while back so that people in his admin couldn't be quiet about it. That's the most toxic position he has towards Trump supporters which could theoretically get him forced out.

At least it's not much of a thing in the US. Which I feel stems from wanting more relatable politicians rather than those that seem more studied. Like you get stories from the English of how annoyed they get over the house of lords seem to be so out of touch with the common man, even though they probably help keep a lot of the general retardation from being inflicted on the government from the commons.
