To be more specific: Any doctor (or directions printed on a medicine bottle) suggesting that Jack of all people is somehow responsible for monitoring or medicating his chronic health issues day-to-day is just BIG FARMER (and; therefore, something else to be ignored). If GAWD wanted Jack to be able to read the labels on his medication, He would cure Jack's stroke-induced nearsightedness, and also probably bless him with an entire Costco rotisserie chicken to eat by himself.

That Jack is technically still alive after years of ignoring doctors' orders/pleas and continuing to eat whatever he wants (while lying about it on the Internet, for some reason) is all the proof Jack needs that prayer works; and medicine doesn't. Medicine and diets only work if Gawd wants them to - And Gawd must not want Jack to remember to take his medications or abstain from his favorite foods - otherwise, if Gawd wanted it for Jack, Jack wouldn't even have to remember to take medicine or exercise basic amounts of willpower in refraining from eating both of the entrées he ordered.

This is also why Jack simply doesn't pay any of the sky-high medical bills from his many ER visits and extended hospital stays caused by his multiple strokes and heart attacks - Big Farmer didn't save Jack's worthless life or stabilize his health during those medical emergencies or the months of convalescence he spent gradually recovering until he and Tammy were confident he could maintain being a drooling, maimed shadow of his former self: It was Gawd answering his prayers through Tammy when she sneaked lots and lots of high calorie, high sodium, high fat, high fructose corn syrup fast food in to Jack's hospital rooms. Jack needed that extra strength from those extra buckets of food; because the "medical professionals" were depriving him of the hillocks of cheese and bacon grease-saturated slop he's entitled to have a trough of all times. You see, Jack was struggling to recover because he was malnourished from their medieval torture of insisting he eat a curated, monitored diet in which a daily caloric deficit would cause him to lose body fat while remaining a completely stationary shit-and-piss factory. They probably believe we went to the moon, too.
