SAD smokes up in the morning, smokes up after work, and apparently smokes continuously until going to sleep. Does anybody with an idea of the going rate for legal weed in SoCal want to take a crack at estimating what this household spends on dope? Because it seems to my uneducated eye like it has to be an awful lot.
You know they buy the premium stuff, too, so it's not cheap.
An ounce of cannabis can last someone an entire month if they roll one cigarette-sized joint per day.
One *can* buy a full ounce of "shake" (aka the ugly buds and leaves that aren't display-worthy, but have the exact same effect when smoked or used to make edibles) for $40 if they know where to go in L.A. County.
(The Mecca dispensary at Washington & Fairfax, FYI.)
So even if one smoked three Marlboro-sized joints on the daily, they would end up spending about $120 per month if they strictly bought shake.
But most people think they're too good for shake, so will spend at least $15 per 1/8oz ("an eighth") to buy display-worthy weed instead.
That works out to $120 per ounce, and at the smoking rate outlined above, would total $360 per month on the "cheap" end.
Different dispensaries offer special sales and have loyalty programs that can save someone money, but you can bet Becky doesn't have the spoons to organize her re-upping schedule in order to minimize her spending, so let's disregard that information for the sake of our calculations.
I'm not sure what the upper limit on weed prices may be, as surely someone out there has found a clientele willing to pay $100+ for an eighth and therefore will charge that much. However, I don't know anyone that extravagantly retarded and don't browse dispensaries where unusually-stupid-expensive weed marketed to extravagant retards is on offer.

Tl;dr despite these extremely inexact calculations, I wouldn't be surprised if the McCuck household weed expenses far surpass $400 per smoker per month.
That's not even counting the pre-made edibles, including drinks and gummies, they buy in addition to the actual weed to be smoked.
If they're into stuff like shatter, wax, and vape carts, that's even more money and can get into "unusually-stupid-expensive" territory very fast.
