What patience PPP must have to talk while Phil goes in circles, rambles on tangents, and contradicts himself in the same sentence.

- I'm upset because Iron Chef Cuckai advertises her in my chat. Imagine if you go to a restaurant and people there are talking about another restaurant. People would want to go eat there.

I do agree now that, besides milking Phil for laughs, PPP genuinely wants him to avoid reaching his 50s wearing a Sonic hat and playing games for money, but it’s too late now. Phil knows that the money he gets comes from the dents, who have a safe haven retard social club in his chat. He cultivated that over years by chasing away any normal person who somehow was a fan of his.

He's right that there's no benefit to doing a stream with any detractor. None of the dents like that kind of thing, and all the views and money would flow to restreamers and people who clip him. Maybe some KC paypigs would chime in, but he's not making that much more money, even now with PPP, on the wrestling show to justify the privilege of being humiliated by Alt.

ALT already said he would never ever talk to DSP same with plenty of other detractors since there is no point as he would just give the prestream and cry about it then do a decompression stream where he does a 180 on everything he said. There is very little content at this point from interacting directly with DSP as PPP is finding out the hard way.

He could technically do more interviews but people will legitimately just get more and more bored of the DSplP story. Anyone who interviews DSP is basically indirectly keeping the story going longer and adding nothing of value.

And the same can be said about the thousands of tweets, YouTube videos and even my own posts about DSP.

I am also less sure about the position that PPP is snaking Phil. Clearly he’s gaslit him a couple times and is fucking with him, but in a weird way PPP does think it is a net positive for Phil. His speech at the end of the segment felt really sincere to me.

Maybe I missed some grill pigroach segments, but in previous segments Triple Phat was always clearly trolling him about various things looking at his body language and facial expressions. Yet yesterday, Triple Phat Lesbian looked clearly pissed off at the pigroach when addressing the Lex/ICS clusterfuck. I think Divorce coin will see a surge, not Fak Khet divorce coin but Triple Phat divorce coin.

Which is not wrong.

He can pretend to not know because it's his primary defense for anything, but we know he's well aware of him (at least about WPIG and TBS) and seethes over the views people get just by talking about him while he struggles to hit 1k views. And I don't think that argument would work with the audience of the talk—detractors and people interested in lolcow internet drama, who watch hundreds of hours of lolcow videos without even getting paid for it.

I also think very little would come from a detractor talking directly with Phil. Maybe another "220" meme and that’s it. That Sidescrollers interview was the perfect storm, and Phil learned the hard way that he can't just lie his way out of all the bad rep he’s managed to build on the internet over the years. By the end of his reaction to Joon The King’s video, he refused to engage and either sat in silence or just complimented the quality of the animations.

Whereas before in the grill Phil stuff he'd be half playing along and doing a lot of nudge nudge wink wink bullshit, now with this ICS stuff he's full on pigsplaining in the same type of tone he used in the sidescrollers/Steve Cambian fiascos. I really can't see it lasting much longer.

and yeah, it is pretty clear at this stage it can't be done. The only thing holding up DSP are 2-3 whales who seem to thrive off the drama and attention that DSP's dents and detractors bestow upon them - I do question whether they'll get bored off the attention at some point or if DSP will legitimately get depressed himself at some stage and become a "sad streamer" which turns off everyone.

When I say legitimately I already sincerely believe DSP is depressed even though lots of people would disagree, he just doesn't understand it. There is no way he doesn't have a thousand voices of doubt and cynicism about his life every moment he is awake and probably also in his dreams. The fact he rarely publicly shows that he has those voices doesn't mean he doesn't have them.

What's kind of funny in all of this is that only yesterday some "detractor" who was making DSP meme music was capable of self reflection and realized all of this is a waste of time and that DSP is irredeemable and him randomly calling women he doesn't even know sluts isn't that based and redpilled:

It was a fun time. What if one of his bandmates saw it? How would you explain that, “Oh, I make music on a Let’s Play?” And he goes on vacations, living his best life. For everyone else (and this includes twitter and youtube "detractors" even if they don't post or even read here):

DSP getting nominated and winning would be the most objectively funny outcome.

Not only because it would massage DSP's ego but because then people that don't know who DSP is will get told about who he is and some small percentage of them will fall "down the rabbit hole" like the rest of us poor souls trapped here for all of eternity... on page 5350 of the DSP megathread 2 which was continued on from page 10,001 of the DSP megathread 1 on the DSP subforum on kiwifarms (which almost has 500 thousand fucking forum posts)

And in a way it's all pretty funny because, even as I sit here bemoaning DSP and his inability to control his addictions and can realize that the above person (who seems sane) is representative of any "normal person" in that they take a glance at this shitshow and are like "fuck this shit, I'm off"... I do ask myself what I could be doing that is more productive than this spectacle that so many people follow. I think anyone with common sense has long realized that DSP is irredeemable at this point and short of all his main paypigs getting bored then this will continue until one of the long term plots surfaces (health, sanity, house maintenance shit or something else) and it's not gonna be an entertaining story to follow when that happens.

It may be that PPP's patience with DSP is not only being tempered by his realization that DSP is irredeemable (and I use irredeemable not to mean taking account for his sins necessarily, but meaningfully realizing he and he alone has the agency to improve his own life) but also that there's going to be a day sometime soon when brutal reality starts happening with shit like his health and all of that.

Talking to phil is always like that spongebob/patrick meme with the drivers license- you could go through 20 instances of phil lying, get him to admit to all of them, and then ask if the detractors are correct that phil is a dishonest person, and phil would still say no.

Same thing for any of the common reasons people have for not liking phil- you could find 100 examples of him being toxic to other people unprompted, 100 examples of phil doing drama content, 100 examples of him being a hypocrite, etc, and phil would still claim he isn't toxic, he doesn't do drama, he isn't a hypocrite, the detractors are wrong about all of it.

Of course this is all a self defense mechanism to protect his ego at all costs, if phil ever came to the realization that everything people say about him on the internet is correct and he is in fact exactly the person detractors say he is, his ego would shatter to the point where he'd have a mental breakdown. No one wants to admit they're a miserable, dishonest, jealous scumbag like phil is, so he's created his false worldview where haters just make fun of him for no reason whatsoever and he's just an innocent man making meaningful, chill video game streams.

So if an interviewer could ever tie everything together like this and get phil to actually experience real introspection, it would be worthwhile, but another interview just jumping from one random topic to another over and over again would just be the same thing we've already seen multiple times now.

Will probably end up as the biggest turning point of his career tbh. He would be making more money doing far fewer streams and could treat it like he is in the WWE and "work" the marks or whatever. Detractors would've been so fucking bored of DSP if he was only doing lolcow live it would've been back to how it was a few years ago where they were on life support.
