Run Away Together is a pretty shitty card for what it is though, mono blue interaction with resolved permanents is BAD but it's not so bad that it would make my deck unless I had specific synergies with targeting my own shit or bouncing things.

I agree in general but it's done work for me on my turbo dismiss into dream / cauldron of souls deck but that's just because I love to brew bad decks and then win because tcg players cannot read.

I think part of the fun in a multiplayer game is that you get to wreck two people's stuff with it.

With the predominance of tokens nowadays, I just about see anything like RAT as plain removal.

In (mono) blue I usually rely on counters as interaction with a little bit of bounce and have most of my card draw be instant speed so that if I have open mana I can just cantrip a bit.

I feel like colors in Magic are what something would be to a neutral third party not what the thing thinks of itself as. Like Liz Fong-Jones thinks of themselves as some azorius tyrant but then they prowl a bathhouse as some malformed freak trying to get their way with threats and extortion and it doesn't jive. Maybe the central mechanic of the hypothetical lolcow set should be MDFCs transforming from what they see themselves to how society sees them.

Most of it are okay cards, Patrick being a Vanilla is fitting..my biggest complaint is that Spongebob as Jodah, The Unifier.

Jodah the Unifier is STRONG...STRONG STRONG..and I don't think trying to get spongebob fans into the game using that card is a remotely good idea, Like Jodah the Unifier is strong enough on his own that you put the skeleton of good "Ramp, Draw and interaction" and just like 30-35 completely Random Legendary Creatures and the deck will be dangerous in a field of 3s and probalby compete with 4s.

Somehow it's even less fitting then Terra which is impressive. All they had to do was shove a provisional activation protection against spells for creatures you control but for some reason they designed her to be go wide token aristocrats reanimator.

I sort of like the art though.

Ain't no way they intended to attract Spongebob fans into learning with these cards, these are for current players looking for memes/ collectors/investors. Toxarill is also probably one of the most oppressive commanders you can play into a lot of lower powered tables.

How do you guys feel that it's confirmed all UB sets will cost more than a regular set?
I think this will ultimately cause a quick increase of cash flow and then accelerate the death of the game due to people being priced out of even singles and I imagine the type of person that would buy a couple boxes will cut back due to the mark up.

Wheel is okay for runic, it does restore her resources. I dunno why she has a reanimation focused effect though...or why she is Mardu...i am guessing that the Empire is all Mardu.
