I really liked Undertale at first when I’ve played it in late 2015 - I thought it had a lot of charming moments and a very catchy soundtrack. Though after revisiting it after almost a decade it felt a lot like a game for hipsters and Homestuck stans - the idea of having multiple gameplays that affect the story is cool, but feels too forced and exaggerated. Besides, wasn’t the guy a major contributor to developing Homestuck and not just as a composer?

From someone a bit introverted by choice i hate how Introvert to these people has become a complete awkward shut in that seizes up at even the hint of human interaction and also need to be treated like delicate flowers because nearly everything with these types is about coddling in some way. The reality is most of these types aren't what I would call introvert they're just maladjusted to social issues and refuse to actually go out and have even a basic conversation about normal things that isn't internet shit.
A lot of these types on the internet are easily curable but stay inside their own head because as we've seen in the past decades they wear their mental illness like a shirt. Introvert is another label for them to feel special and parade around with which infuriates people that do have social anxiety issues. For me i hate being at events or at large public areas like i am sure most folks are but that is a problem i can deal with. Meanwhile these are the types that call themselves introvert because (and we know some of them do this) they freak the fuck out when the world doesn't play along with their gender larp game so they become shut-ins to spite people that don't care about them and cope by calling themselves introverts.

Well said, I can relate as someone who is an introvert. I was far worse for most of my life, but that wasn't being introverted, that was crippling social anxiety among other things. Unfortunately no one could tell the difference which made me worse, now despite considering myself an introvert I'm far more social and "normal." But like you said, people just lump introverts and anti-social autists together. The people who describe actual introverts as the latter are midwits who are most likely anti-social autists themselves.

I read the slapfight one of the devs on the game had with PirateSoftware/Maldivus Figtree the Roach before this drama and it reminded me why I hated current indie game devs so much.

It's funny because for 1. the devs of Postal and Hatred are actually best bros IRL and are friendly with one another as much as two devs can be. Postal Redux even featured the Hatred Guy as a guest character simply because they have a mutual respect for one another. 2. Hatred doesn't take itself seriously whatsoever, it's basically the same as Postal 2 in that regard but for 2010s culture instead of 2000s culture. How the fuck can anyone take Hatred seriously in this year of 2025? Is SJW (period appropriate term) propaganda from that time still that powerful? The devs of Hatred outright stated he's literally a walking parody of what a 'mass shooter' is. I would even argue that Hatred is more funnier than Postal 2 since the humor is way more subtle and less in your face.

I think the biggest difference is just how the perception and discussion of media has changed between their releases, especially video games. You can't deny that Destructive Creations tried and succeeded in catching an anti-SJW wave to boost their game to own the libs, and some will likely die mad about it.
