Where do you even take the concept though? The first Death Stranding was an okish chill artsty experience. I paid $15 and thought it was alright.

$70 for a game where all you do is walk around a barren empty map with no enemies or combat again seems like a hard sell. Kojima dickriders are probably going to say the story is the appeal but the first game's story was utterly incoherent nonsense and I pretty much expect the same thing here.
 
Another self aggrandizing self suck fest by the biggest closeted mo hack in the industry.

Visuals are great, I'll give it that. But so was the 5/10 first game.

Fuck me, they had to drag Luca Marinelli, the "it's Solid Snake in my eyes" for Kojima, into this game huh.

Not gonna bother watching any trailers this time around, I really hope for this game to be a reality check for Kojima, but it's gonna sell like fucking crazy and all the e-celebs will glaze him as usual, despite having found out about "Him" just the other day.

Is it just me or does her character model look off here? Suicide Squad had that photorealistic scan of Debra as Waller but this isn't that.

It's too smooth and lacks detail.
 
Not only is there some sort of Solid Snake stand in in this but also someone named Red Samurai who Pretty much looks like the stand in for Cyborg Ninja.

I assume Deborah Wilson gets used in so many games because there probably arent many competent black voice actors in the industry.
 
The only people who shill for Kojima now are the same people who were crying about Quiet ten years ago and started wearing programmers socks and taking HRT since.

Weird, the game is coming out in a few months and I've seen zero buzz or chatter. I guess talk might pick up as release gets closer, but we also might have a flop on our hands. And I liked the first game.

For anyone curious: Debra Wilson is in the game because she voiced Crying Wolf in MGS4. She and Phil LaMarr have been friends since at least their days working on Mad TV together and, as LaMarr's VO career took off, he's been the foot in the door to get Wilson a number of roles. LaMarr was Vamp in MGS2 and 4; so it wasn't much of a surprise to see her name. Debra Wilson is also completely insane; and a lolcow in her own right.

Strangely enough, that makes me feel better. I always assumed it was DEI shit but that makes way more sense.

Its really shows how toxic that DEI shit is when I feel better to hear that people get work from nepotism and connections rather then racial politics. Though I'm sure this game is gonna have a ton of gay left wing politics haphazardly shoved in like the last one.
