Honestly I can't stand Eric July. He used to show up all the time due to me watching political videos and he did the same low effort, "let me repeat my political stance 70 times in a week and you nerds will eat it up," videos that every other politics grifter was doing.

That being said, Dax has one schtick and he's been trying to milk it for years but the teat ran dry the second all of the Maddox stuff resolved. He can't find that same level of pettiness that wrapped back around to funny with other people because people didn't grow up with Eric July and suddenly see him go from an untouchable internet titan to some boring dude who gets mad when you call him a cuck. He's lacking that emotional investment that caused people to want to hear someone crap all over Maddox.
