Luckily I've always been pretty clear about my values and how sprog shall be raised/schooled etc and my mom was a midwife for most of my life so I'm not altogether ignorant. 2. The second night is the shitty one, not the first.

3. Take the help. Don’t let perfection be the enemy of the good. Maybe your MIL is a bitch but if she’s invested in her grandbaby, you can come to common ground on that.

4. Yes nursing really hurts that much at first. Silver nipple covers. Invest now because they are so effective, I may just request to be buried with mine.

5. People just say shit to be polite. Old people say old people shit and young people say young people shit. They mean nothing by it.

The happening:
Becky Gerber is polyamorous. She has two long-term "husbands" and occasionally cycles through extra boyfriends on the side. Well, one of those husbands is breaking up with her, and it's been making Becky spiral into a BPD meltdown over the past month.
You might recognize him. His name is Daniel Z Klein; he was a relatively high-profile game developer for League of Legends and Apex Legends.

This is Becky and her two husbands. Daniel is the one with long hair. He isn't legally married to Becky, but he's the father of her child and is also the main breadwinner of the polycule, so it's kind of a messy situation.


Anyway... We don't have the details, but Daniel broke up with her on February 3rd.

Becky mentioned "weaponizing ableism" above. Translation: Daniel is tired of Becky faking disability as an excuse for being unemployed and doing very little housework. She also refuses to change diapers or comfort her screaming child, citing "sensory issues" from (fake) autism.
