TJLC - The JohnLock Conspiracy - Fine Whine Tasting Session

It's... beautiful. I checked their blog to see if they acknowledged that response, because I'm nosy as hell.

Instead I saw this:

Ah yes, the same ACD who hated his creation so much that he tried to kill him off specifically so that he could stop writing stories. Who told someone who wanted to write about a married Holmes "You may marry him, murder him, or do anything you like to him." Who was pissed that he was never remembered for his historical works and felt that writing about Holmes was holding him back.
Clearly he would give a shit about all of this, if only he wasn't too preoccupied with being dead.

(This was posted 11 hours ago as well, so clearly they haven't taken the advice to get over it).

Can't believe these people actually watched Apple Tree Yard expecting it to be a secret Sherlock episode, and then complained that it wasn't. That's just amazing.
Now I'm disappointed that I didn't know about all this until after the show ended.

It's easier to get creators to agree with you 100% when they're dead.

Bitch deleted the post but didn't apologize, but is probably because she feel like she did nothing bad.

She still going with her delusions through, there is a conspiracy theory where they believe the new series that is gonna replace Sherlock is actually a spin off of it and JL is gonna be canon This made me remember another fandom with a similar crazy bitch who had the same theory, in her case it did were spin off but those only BTFO her even more.

YOUR SHIP SUNK

IT WENT DOWN HARDER THAN THE TITANIC

ITS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MARIANAS TRENCH

IT WAS TORPEDOED BY EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE SHOW

why why why is it this show of all shows that has attracted this particular level of reality-denial??

I think that was "Apple Tree Yard", because it aired in the same time slot as Sherlock had. So a load of them tuned into it expecting to see dudes kissing in front of the sunset for half an hour, and instead got a TV drama where a woman has an affair and then gets raped. And then they complained about how triggering/rape culture/heteronorminative that was, lol.

Maybe it's because I'm not really into the shipping thing and just watch TV and then go on my way, but I seriously don't get why people get so emotionally invested in their ships being canon. Like, why isn't it enough to play "what if" and write your fanfiction, especially when you're into something this popular and there are literally thousands of other people into it you can talk to and stuff? You're not gonna die because the two pasty dudes didn't kiss on screen, I promise.
It's a shame when they take it to extremes like this, and the "What if's" become "Canon" without question.

Well, can't please everyone.

Zero sympathy for triggering nonsense (and I myself tend to avoid shows with a lot of sexual violence), as if they had chosen to believe what the previews in the media, the interviews the cast gave, and the CONTINUITY ANNOUNCER that wow, this was really not an episode of Sherlock, the sexual violence content was clearly warned about by all three. You do not get to say "I was upset by TV rape. The channel and the media both clearly told me to expect this rape, but I watched the show anyway because I believed it was going to be an episode of a completely different show"

i like the part where they ignore the straight white cis male vehemently and repeatedly stating he is not gay because "he's totes gay guys look at the way he blinked at sherlock and that hug? gay central"

:late: but my god why are they still on this

Why an elephant?

The set designer took loads of photos and posted them on twitter for the fans thinking he was giving them a sneak peak. He seems to just like elephants personally so included one in most if not all photos.
The foaming TJLC folk took this to mean he was giving them secret messages of "the elephant in the room" that the romance was going to be revealed this year.

When it wasn't true they hounded him on Twitter and demanded he make an apology.

As a fan of both anime and Supernatural, although not a watcher of Sherlock, I cease to understand why fangirls proceed to attempt to make everything seem subtextually homo in shows that have few hints whatsoever, or where a bond is strong, but clearly not from a romantic standpoint.

Can two men have a close relationship without it being deemed as gay, is that not what the term "bromance" is for? There's also a very small ratio of gay guys in the world relative to straight ones, gaying everyone up isn't gonna change that.

And when they do proceed to gay everything up, they write absurd slash fictions and actively portray the gay aspects of the relationship to be very stereotypical, especially in the case of animanga and yaoi, and the superwholock conglomerate. and that's very odd. As someone who's bi I just don't see why it's necessary to make every same sex platonic relationship into an outwardly sexual one.
