TrackMania Thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The entire Trackmania streaming community has been playing this Deep Dip 2 map for about 12hrs a day for over a week now. And the leader is slightly over halfway.

It's this giant fucking tower with hundreds of absurd jumps and stunts, with no checkpoints along the way. Make a single mistake and down to the floor you go. It's really fucking stupid. Deliberately setting yourself a difficult challenge to overcome is one thing, buty why anyone would willingly torture themselves playing an infuriating level for hours a day for what's looking like is going to go on for weeks is a total mystery.

Go apply that level of dedication to literally anything productive.
I was also there for Deep Dip 1's first completion live on stream, it's a fucking trip.

Like others have said, Trackmania autism really knows no bounds.

Not long after, an unknown player by the name of 92BOB began climbing the leaderboards for TMUF at an alarming speed. He was destroying old records and quickly overtook some of the most skilled players in ranking with no sign of stopping. The community speculated it may be Riolu playing anonymously on an alt account as no one but him could be as skilled as to compete with the top players. Nadeo themselves checked and found the runs by 92BOB were all legit. The player himself has zero contact with anyone in the community.

If 92BOB really is Riolu he would still be permitted to play the game so long as he abides by the rules. Nadeo have a policy of 'ban the cheating account, but not the player', which gives former cheaters a chance at redemption. Many of the cheaters in the big scandal returned and competed legit, and the community welcomed them back. I'm sure there are examples of this in other games. 92BOB could be just a new guy who jumped onto TrackMania from another game for all everyone knows, which makes the next part just vile.
I watched that video the other day. Wirtual has been consistent with making quality little documentaries, but this one was pretty cringy. I think him trying to make discord tranny gayops and doxxing seem 100% wholesome chungus just says it all about the community and himself. This comment just about sums it up:
92bob.png
Best part? I don't think this is even about Riolu, I think these discord losers are just seething that one of the best players is anonymous and wants nothing to do with the "old boys". The idea of being a record holder and not being part of their circlejerk must make them seethe, I would definitely not be surprised if Blackq is Wirtual's sock.

Wirtual dropped yet another featurette about riolu. Will he finally prove his point this time around?:

I wonder if he will drop his mask even more and encourage people to dox him

Edit: This time around there is actually decent research behind the video. This Riolu guy is extremely autistic if the information here is true.
That said, this video could only be made because Trackmania jannies are snooping around in users private data and due to discord faggotry.
Also, apparently NOW doxxing is bad, where that same phishing link that was "an interesting strategy!" before was redacted to be "reprehensible". Whatever you say, Wirtual.

If all of this is true, which considering the infodump in the video, might as well be, then Riolu's actions is sockpuppet gayoppery autism in a different dimension not even the Kiwi Farms had seen before.

Forgive me if I don't know much of site lore, but as far as I know Alameen the 4'11" Tanzanian fake OSINT nigger had like 3 or 4 socks at most?

Riolu had more than 10 of these. Actively used all of them. And on one of them he practically stole his childhood friend's identity. This is fucking insane gayops that no one expected to come out of a niche racing game series that gets sub-1k concurrent players most of the time.

For anyone that didn't watch the hour-long video, I'll list the important points linking Riolu to the socks (most notably 92BOB and fake Eddy) below:

- Old Trackmania games has a unique non-changeable identifier called a login, and Riolu's known login Acceleracer_01 was linked to multiple sock accounts' replay files.
- Activity pattern matches on a lot of cases. Registering to a forum, setting records, etc etc, were all done in extremely narrow timeframes. Those patterns also link to both 92BOB and fake Eddy.
- Same controller VID&PID across all accounts. Matches to a Nacon PS4 controller that was given to Riolu by a sponsor.
- Some accounts had used the same slow-motion cheating as Riolu, as evident by them being banned from the game.
- Nadeo, the game developers, KNOWS who 92BOB is (Riolu) and KNOWS that revealing who they are will potentially cause unrest. Allows 92BOB to keep playing on the condition that there are no more cheated runs.
- When 92BOB goes inactive, fake Eddy starts playing, vice versa.
- Fake Eddy never voice chatted. Nigger wasn't even sly enough to use a voice changer or speak in a fake accent.
- When fake Eddy gets confronted, goes inactive from both game and social media, akin to the real Riolu.
- Same region on almost all accounts (Dortmund, Germany).
- YouTube socks made years ago start becoming active again after the original cheating scandal to defend Riolu and attack detractors such as Wirtual and other TM community members.

Outrageous. I hope you get help, Riolu. I'm not here to moralfag about do- phonebooking or any of that I just hope he genuinely gets help, because haha car go fast game is living rent free in his head for 4 years and coming.

Actually insane shit, is there anything near this level? I'm sure there are similarly sized networks of sock accounts on Wikipedia/social media for propaganda purposes that have way better opsec, and maybe there are some similarly insane people have been exposed trying to control their own little slice of Wikipedia or Reddit, but I can't think of anything at this scale off the top of my head. This dude was going through the effort of pretending to miss a competition while competing in it on a sock while text chatting with fellow competitors wondering who the fuck the obvious sock was between rounds to make them think it couldn't be him back in 2017! With multiple YT socks created back in 2014! Insanity.

Surely doing this shit for a decade is one way to become a schizo.

Full list of riolu's aliases (according to Wirtual's video):
  • acceleracer_01 - the main TM alias used by riolu
  • eddy-ey - stolen identity of Riolu's childhood friend Eddy, submitted record under pwnz0r22 login
  • Pwnz0r/pwnz0r22 - old alias of Eddy, submitted record under acceleracer_01 login, at one point used buzzkill as his nickname
  • Sirox - submitted a replay with acceleracer_01 display name (which displayed the same signs of cheating as riolu) to the competition for in-game currency, coppers, just minutes after Pwnz0r and riolu, used hot-racer login for coppers payout
  • hot-racer - current display name is saiiro, former display name was camip
  • Ay0nex - submitted maps with saiiro signature, records under acceleracer_01, xsaaiir and crashz0r logins
  • xsaamiir - used saiiro and camip nicknames in his replays, had cheated runs in his replays (which resulted in a ban in 2021), laid dormant for six years, reappeared under Absol nickname to play in a tournament. riolu himself gave the account to his friend Lars so that he could participate in competitions.
  • crashz0r - used leandagu nickname, account has the same regional zone as riolu. riolu himself defended the account when lean was suspected of cheating. Had cheated runs in his replays (which resulted in a ban in 2021).
  • buzzkill22 - used eddy as his nickname, account has the same regional zone as riolu
  • 92bob/bob92 - used the controller with the same vendor and product ids (which was promoted by riolu) as eddy.
  • a group of accounts used by riolu to farm coppers through accessing account on TM forums and flood leaderboards with records which also use car skins that are exclusive to riolu:
    • bobchepa
    • christianklose
    • danielecorti
    • danielsangon
    • kekster3000
    • nordlicht
    • taromisaki
    • the_T
    • 123joerch - used the controller with the same vendor and product ids as eddy
    • ludozlud - used the controller with the same vendor and product ids as eddy
    • qrafix72 - formerly owned by TechnoTM (who gave the password to riolu) for smurfing
    • generalcul - used full name of a legit TM player as display name at one point in a attempt to dox him (possibly because riolu's ego was hurt)
  • a group of accounts run by riolu that commented in groups with similar language and themes several minutes apart (eddy's account included):
    • sweggg732
    • uranfegit3213
    • saaiiroo9812/saairoo98 - a rehash of a nickname previously used for hot-racer alias
    • slobodanmedadadonevic5723/slobodanmedada - the account bemoaning about toxicity in TM community, while his comments are the most toxic out of all in the group. At one point shared riolu's records on Reddit. Registered on Cheat Engine forum to ask about the detection of CE in Uplay two weeks after a Uplay-exclusive TM game was unveiled

Really? Nobody expected autism like this out of autistic speedrunning niggers? This isn't surprising, but I'm still impressed by Riolu's dedication to his favorite vroom vroom game all the same. Just imagine, from being one of the elite players and an e-sports champion to an obsessed lolcow who farms coppers all day like a gypsy while skinwalking as your childhood friend. I wonder if he warrants a thread.

There is people like this for every game, I am sure you could find a Riolu for every major MMO or online game. Still, this is one of the most obsessed nutcases I've come across.

It's worse, he farmed in-game currency before, during and after being considered the elite player.

This video was actually informative unlike the piece that was uploaded years ago. I stopped playing TM (I was never any good, but enjoyed the game a ton) because of all of the drama surrounding the game and its top players.

I don’t have much experience with Riolu but his behavior doesn’t surprise me at all. The guy has been playing this game his entire life and it is literally all he knows. The autism around speed running really needs to be studied, because like people have mentioned before, it’s so dumbfounding that someone who is legitimately elite at the game would be willing to throw it all away based upon hypotheticals he believes he deserves but cannot achieve. I suppose if you’re sitting at the top, the only place to go is down.

Edit:

Wirtual is a complete faggot and is more threadworthy than the autist who endlessly smurfs for the game

I think we could reach a compromise and just make a thread on TrackMania autists as a whole, with a big section on Riolu.
I could have sworn we already had a thread on Speedrunners, but I think TrackMania deserves it's own thread since it is literally just speedrunning, the game. It attracts a certain unique type of autism and obsession.

Agreed. I grew up playing games like Tribes and Half-Life, and I definitely smurfed around to avoid bans on servers where I was being a dick. I have never experienced autism like TM autism. I don’t even think the elite players even enjoy the game. Imagine subjecting yourself to grind houses that take 8+ hours to complete on a regular basis. That’s a pass for me, but I will gladly watch the clips.

Maybe there are a few exceptions. I like Granady though. He seems fairly normal from my experiences. He seemed to keep his nose clean from most of the drama and just play his ice tracks on his wheel.

I know this sentiment has been expressed before but what is exactly that makes Wirtual so unlikeable for many? Is it mostly because he presents himself as THE TrackMania guy, presenting himself as overly important or is there something more to it?

Reddit discord faggot that supports doxing if it's against targets he doesn't like, all around unlikable content creator that's a dime-a-dozen on youtube nowdays. If the topic wasn't interesting to people who play the game and exotic on top of that to those that don't, this guy would be making clickbait youtube slop so many others like him are. If he's the face of the community, I can only imagine how much worse it gets.

Some highlights of Lars (the guy riolu gave one of his sockpuppet accounts) reacting to Wirtual's video:
23:41 - Lars talks about the reason why riolu used a previously dormant xsaamiir sock during a competition in 2018

25:16 - Lars talks about how he obtained xsaamiir account

29:41 - riolu did not like when someone else cheated in TM

36:25 - riolu gaslit his friends into thinking that he didn't cheat some time prior to the release of report on him cheating

52:21 - A big realisation after the reveal that riolu is the guy that used other TM player's full legal name as display name

Riolu beating his own cheated time to flex on the community is pretty funny given the specifics there. And yeah the flex was just for him at the time, but that’s a part of why I think it’s so funny.
I hope he never stops being a complete lunatic and I hope it pisses the TM speds off eternally.
