Troonslop "Retro" Games / Demake games / PS1 Trannies / ULTRAKILL / Y2K trannies - Retro gaming is infected

or are the devs afraid of harming their already nonexistent ps1 aesthetic?
Lol, they think this looks "aesthetic"? This game looks bad even for PS1 standarts, and feels like a insult. Some PS1 games still beautiful even today, like Wipeout 3, Chrono Cross, Fear Effect, Rayman and Parasite Eve, but now dumb indie devs just makes the shittiest and lazyest made low-poly model with flat colors and say "it's suposed to look like a old game even if I was born before that X console release and I have false nostalgia but now fucking shut up".

Also, it's just looks like a little better than a Nintendo 64 game, but calling it "PS1 Aesthetic" is a mockery for the PS1 as a whole. Just lazyness and nothing more.

You can make good graphics without having a AAA budget and the game would still run in modest hardware. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat have decent graphics and can run good in any computer with a GPU better than Intel HD 2000.

Generally with games that are dependent on mods (Terraria as a random example) it's easier to weed out the bad as some of the mods are just QoL stuff that makes the games a little easier.
Literally Project Zomboid. It's unplayable without mods because the devs are dumb to never add basic things like prying-open doors with crowbars

Holy shit thank you, I feel like I'm the only one who sees how overhyped that game is.
I like this game, but I hate how braindead the devs are. A bunch of British and Canadians trying to make a game that take place in 90's rural Kentucky, what could go wrong? It's exacly like Andrew Lincon, a british, portraying Rick Grimes and don't learning how to properly hold a revolver besides being a sheriff from a rural USA county for half of his life - They don't understand nothing about 'murica culture. It's ridiculous how hard is to find guns and cigarretes in that game.

A lot of thing in this game sucks, don't make sense and are poorply implemented, and you have to resort to mods all time to it become playable. This game has been in beta for a decade and a bit more and still far from finished. Maybe only my grandchildren will see this day coming.

At least I don't had seen many trannies in the community, but almost everyone at Discord and Reddit sucks the balls of the dev team as they don't tolerate any type of criticism - """Be Lovely"""

The arguments I usually see for guns being rare by default is usually "it would be too powerful" or similar. Guns draw noise, noise means hordes, hordes larger than your ammo count. Not that hard to figure out.

Yeah sounds about right, devs have to royally screw up to get any criticism done, and even then it has to be structured like "Dear devs, firstly I love the game and everything about it, but here's something that I think would be interesting to at least look into. No worries if you don't, I'll still suck your fat throbbing cocks."

The hardest argument you could make is that the game is supposed to be more of a oppressive hobo survivor fantasy, trying to ape "28 Days Later" and et. cetera., but that only really plays more on the fact, why in America, and not England?

Don't makes sense, because even if every home had a M16 with a crate of magazines and ammo, still a risk that don't worth the trouble as only one shot fired can draw the entire town to your ass.

But irl in rural KY you would find a cheap shotgun or a rusty revolver at least in 2 of 5 houses. But worth the risk of using it? You decide. In my playthrougs I just ignore all guns I find in the first days untill i settle a good base, and if I take one, I use it to kill myself when I'm bitten (I use a mod that adds suicide)

I was hoping to do a better effortpost but I've been sitting on this for the past 3 months and I doubt I'll have the time to autistically comb through everything.

Haunted PS1 is a collective made in March 2018 to help showcase horror indie games that were being done in a low-res style. What started as a way to collaborate with like-minded game devs through Discord quickly turned into a series of spooky low-res themed game jams which ultimately lead to their most well-known contribution: The Haunted PS1 Demo Disc 2020, a compilations of various indie games, either in-development or released, packaged and released as an homage to those old demo disc you used to get from GameStop back in the day.

Originally I wanted to go through each game and see which ones were made by tranny devs, but I got lazy after the 5th game. For the most part it doesn't appear that it's all 100% "troonslop" per se but I need to dig deeper. With all that said then, who do you think was the guy that first started this group? (Spoiler alert: it shouldn't be a surprise based on the purpose of this thread).

Meet Breogan Hackett (pronounced "bro-gone", get it????), the person partially responsible for starting the popularity of PS1-inspired horror games back in the early 2020s.

I'm not quite sure how much involvement he still has in the group but it's still crazy (or I guess unshocking) that it was a troon who started it. Could be some good stuff on their Discord but I don't have an alt-account at the moment to go lurk.

Sidenote: While I was scourging through the list of games they've showcased I saw a familiar sight in one of their mock E3 showcasing. Can you guess what PS1-styled low-res game they were helping to promote?

That's right, it's our favorite game ULTRAKILL! In case you were wondering, they also showed a trailer for MOUTHWASHING (another game that has been mentioned here) back in a 2023 showcase livestream.

So it seems like a YouTube gamedev that trooned out, and did a video that was disguised trauma dumping over Trump and Elon Musk, and made their Love2D project about playing as an illegal alien being killed by the US Government. I swear these people are made in a factory. lol.

Kinda late on that, but I looked him up and I can officially confirm that Garbaj trooned out a while ago. Just as I started getting into Godot...

It's funny because, in that video, he still sounds very much like a man. I know of another such case where a man with a deep voice pretends to be a woman, but I gotta look for that channel again it seems.

I'm a bit more plugged in than I wish to be in this sort of software-adjacent trans stuff and, starting with the pandemic, there was a massive drop in anyone caring about voice training. I think for some of them their regular voice is better than the Chris Chan falsetto they could otherwise pull off, and for others they like the added transgression from demanding compliance while putting in zero effort.

These are the new skull designs, are the symbols some tranny shit I'm not aware of or am I just dumb?
The red skull contains the alchemical symbol of sulfur (🜍) and the blue skull contains the astronomical symbol for planet Mercury (☿). However, the alternate symbol for sulfur (🜏) is commonly used as a satanic cross and is prominent in stuff like The Binding of Isaac where the item Brimstone, named after the Biblical name for sulfur, is hailed as a top 5 or top 3 item in the game.

Bonus points, make a game that is about bringing down CEOs but instead of being le heckin aweserino trans redditors, you are actual territorists that do bad shit to seize control.
Better yet, play as a muzzie terrorist and bomb corporations during Pride Month, you get to BTFO both trannies and corpos at the same time. And besides, you have an infinite amount of essentially royalty-free music in the form of nasheeds.

ARCANE KIDS would later go on to make Neon White.
Not Arcane Kids as a whole, just Ben Esposito (torahorse). He's also the dev who worked on Donut County and the other games mentioned here.

do all these games just "ironically" have shitty graphics that make Bubsy 3D look like a masterpiece?
Yes. Arcane Kids literally made a Bubsy 3D parody game where Bubsy leaves his PS1 game to visit a pretentious Los Angeles art museum. They even bought the domain bubsy3d.com to host it there. (I remember the game being amusing but I don't know how well it has aged.)

For the most part [The Haunted PS1] doesn't appear that it's all 100% "troonslop" per se but I need to dig deeper.
Haunted PS1's "Madvent Calendars" are decent little collections of games. I know that by law of probability several of them will probably have been made by troons, but chances are those are the games that are probably total dogshit and won't be the ones you remember. A friend of mine has been streaming them every October for the past few years and he's picked out a couple of favorites in the anthologies that seem to do themes of existential horror well. There are also ones that are quite obviously just genderbait shit.

Double posting because I wanted to separate my responses to other users from the post I came into this thread to make.

I don't have adult content filtered out on Steam so every once in a while it'll recommend mature or X-rated stuff to me, especially if it hasn't released yet and has a "Coming Soon" page on the platform. Anyways, the game that was shown to me was called Slime Feet. It was created by a man (troon of course) calling himself Nadia Nova, and he only has two releases on Steam but several more on itch.io, including this particular game where it is playable there. The guy's itch.io account is filled with depraved shit like this, but since releasing something on Steam costs a hundred bucks I guess he only posts what he considers his "best" work there.

I'll be honest I clicked on Steam's recommendation because I assumed this was some kind of weird coomer slime girl + foot fetish shit and I had a feeling if I peeked under the hood I'd find gross tranny nonsense that I could post in this thread. From what I understand the game is about "lesbians" (read: AGP men) and one of them gets infected with some alien lifeform that erodes his body into goo, which is where the name of the game comes from because the other side of this coin is that it's foot kink shit because from the knees down he's jello or whatever.

The game's summary on Steam:
a love story for everyone who has ever had to love through a keyboard. slime feet is about the body horror of an inevitable drawn out death, and the lesbian slime feet cybersex that comes with it.

The phrase "tonal whiplash" was created for situations just like this. Starts out sentimental, turns existential, and then goes off the deep end into weird gooner territory. No woman would ever produce something like this, this is something that can only be described with that stupid quip "man hands typed these words".

slime feet is about how foot fetish prevails even when your favorite feet are turning into slime.

This is the type of shit that appeals to such a bizarrely specific demographic of perverts and it fascinates me that something this hyper-focused exists. There cannot be more than like, four people on Earth who would jerk off to this. I thought about playing it on itch.io to see if there was anything amusing/shocking/whatever, but decided not to. If there's interest though, I can check it out I guess. I've thought about making a play (or read) along thread for stuff like this.

In the time it took me to catch up on this thread the game released on Steam. It has several reviews from AGP's, and one negative review that made me laugh:

i actually noticed a similar thing with haunted psx troonware, it talks a lot and says nothing, except what appeases xe very author and xheir posse of fellow cockchoppers/zippertits and troonwhipped devs. i'd argue these fetish games are at least honest in that xey proudly show how much xe developer is deeply consumed by pornography, but grappling with how to make it look stunning and brave so xey can rationalize xheir continued degeneration.
i remember that this kind of nothinggame only used to be about how the poor brave transqxeen faced challenges in xeir everyday life, but as with anything deeply linked to fetishizing womxn and indulging in lust, it's no surprise we are now at the step about goon sesh transbian slime feet tf. if you give a tgirl a titty skittle...

when i am king by divine right i will execute anyone making le quirky ps1 style demake remake gay bullshit. it was ugly then and it is ugly now.

That's the sad part. PS1 graphics are really interesting to look at. I love old style game graphics as they always bring a sense of something in me, something unusual and otherworldly. Not trying to look deep into it, of course. But it's a style I like, and these people thought such a style would be something super quirky and "unique" to make instead of trying to work with their own styles or add something subversive with the PS1 style. They all think being "so retro" with their game will make it more interesting. Thinking that alone already makes your game less interesting.

it's also because troons are lazy and bad at game development, so they tend to take shortcuts while claiming it's because of the "aesthetic", when rly it's just cuz they can't 3d model for shit
