Interestingly I'd imagine some kind of cron job to probe the channel page in intervals and yt-dlp with some special parameters that would download any new video, audio and subtitles.

Well the good news is according the Bitesize, almost all of Josh’s videos are archived somewhere, they’re just not all compiled together in one easy place. It’s a Christmas miracle we have any of his GothicKingCobra52 and early years content left because not everyone back then was concerned with preservation. And there wasn’t nearly as much attention on him as there is these days. Massive circle of protection around archive channels.

It’s about moderation. A lot of these channels don’t moderate the comments. They let people say whatever they want, they let people spread misinformation, they let people get worked up over bs and encourage others to glasstap and harass and make no effort to shut it down, delete those comments, or disprove misinformation or a-log fanfiction because all engagement is good engagement. Just like how the subreddit was basically completely unmoderated which led to it getting shut down.
The alog crowd is lukewarm to Seizure at BEST because he doesnt spend all his time talking about how evil Josh is or how he doesnt really have aspergers. Go browse theboglim.com to see for yourself.
