I’d bet a million dollars Destiny ran his stream much like the old casting couch of yore, with just a tad more finesse. I’m sure they agreed they were open minded, sexually adventurous, not prudes!, because ofc those are the types of people he really admires and are a good fit for his stream. Then he starts sending dick pics.Yeah allegedly Destiny has done this type of thing to a lot of women, but the percentage that have decided to do something about it is very low.
The online sphere is just a new place for men to try this old “pay for play” business model on young women (and men if gay).
I’d say there’s even more people who didn’t go along with his sex pest hints and flirting and just got iced out as a result of not doing what he wanted. I’m sure they won’t come forward either if they are still trying to get anywhere with a streaming or media career.
Pixie might get more people to come out of the woodwork, but I’d assume Steve is using real fear tactics and loyalty networking shit behind the scenes. It will be more interesting to see who on the streamer left, whose careers are and are not intertwined with his sphere of influence, that will call out Destiny for this shit. (Unfortunately I think many are guilty of similar shit, so will stay silent for that reason alone.)
There are few people in the streaming world that don’t give pervert or creep vibes. Only certain types of people seek this type of attention and audience or “entertainment careers” in general. People seem to think they go after young people because of attractiveness, but it’s usually because they are naive, over eager and more easily awed, bullied and manipulated.
