I never really watched any of her videos until 3 in a row recently. Other women saying her makeup is trying to imitate and sexualize a child, when that's literally what Belle Delphine popularized with her DDLG fetishism that other thots mistook for "just something you need to do to have success". Big red nose, bright red cheeks, fake freckles, bandaids on the knees, fake braces. The kind of shit -actually- trying to make you look like a 9 year old. Or rather, an adult's idea of a child; like the characters in Stranger Things or that new "not Life is Strange" game (where people are already sexualizing the kids).

Anyway: Spend 20 seconds on any dating media and you'll make all of these observations yourself. Women will see a section titled "About Me:" and immediately write all the things they want in a man or a list of literal challenges to be worthy of her attention. What do you win? She doesn't even know herself cause her personality is as fleeting as her interest in someone who matched her.

I'd argue she was basically unknown until GamerGate latched on to her Oppression Olympics video.
She was 23 in 2014.
Casually looking at year-posted and view-count, it's not obvious to me what year is "peak". She has (still listed, not deleted) videos throughout the past ten years that seem to pretty consistently hit around two million, including recent ones. The coquettish wardrobe appears about eight years ago. The boxxy skinwalking make-up predates 2014, of course.

I don't think Shoe is trying to look like a child, her makeup and hair situation read to me as someone who is still using the same style that she's always used and can't accept that she's gotten older and the style no longer works anymore. I'm not even trying to insult her or say that she is "old", she isn't, but she isn't a teenager anymore and it's time to pick out a more mature wig and different eyeliner/lash combo. Truthfully, it started looking dated on her a few years ago.

Her aesthetic is like a toned down version of the scene look that was so popular in the 2000s, specifically the eyeliner choice. The fake lashes are also too heavy, in my opinion. Every time I see her, it’s like I’m looking at a time capsule. She’d probably look less dated if she went for subtler eye makeup, with more pigmented lips and cheek makeup. From what I’ve seen so far though, I predict she’ll still be sporting the same 2000s look even at age 45. She’ll be like those elderly women that really liked how they did their hair in the 1960s at age 25, and still continue that look decades later.

Or that her style hasn't evolved ... Which also isn't deep. Sometimes, once people pick and get used to a style, they stick with what they know.

As I've said before in this thread: her current style would look 1000x better if she just had a lighter hand with her makeup.

One of the biggest makeup mistakes I've seen women in their 30s and 40s do is to continue to have a heavier hand with their makeup. Thick winged eyeliner looks like shit on middle aged women unless they're rich AF celebrities who continuously get eye lifts. lol. And full coverage foundation with aging skin is just a bad mix.

Zooey Deschanel is in her 40s and still rocks her cutesy feminine style ... But she's made subtle changes to her wardrobe and makeup so that she doesn't look weird. Zooey Deschanel has made her style part of her brand though ... So maybe Shoe thinks that the thick eyeliner is "on brand" for her, too? It could also be just as simple as "people wouldn't recognize me as much without the big winged eyeliner in the thumbnails" or something. At the end of the day, though, the thick eyeliner doesn't look good on her, and it bothers me. lol.

iirc most of those were leaked by a guy in Europe (Swiss? Or claimed he was in Europe) who catfished Juwu and got her to send him a bunch of nudes that he posted here

The person who catfished her was using pics from a gay male model from Europe.
The person who catfished her remains unidentified.

Quite a few people believe the second "leak" a little while later (with all her adult-rated cosplay glamour shots) was in reality just posted by her because too much fun was being made about the first "leak" candid shots. Some suspect she was behind the first set, too.
