I can understand the optimism of people still wanting those files released; I'd love to see actual justice handed out on this matter as well, but there's realistically no way. Far too many filthy agents with dirty, tarnished hands have had their way with this case. I knew the moment I saw that footage someone took with a drone of all those feds going unchecked on that pervert's island that this was going to be the result.

I can understand your disappointment, and I can't even guess why anyone in Trump's administration thinks there's anything remaining to find beyond just wildly speculating. The only thing I can personally reason behind pushing out the Epstein files the way they were was to show the public just how little the feds have shared and bothered to keep so that the people can see with their own eyes the farcical that remains and justifiably get pissed and ask the glaringly obvious question of "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S FUCKING IT?! WHERE'S THE REST OF IT?!".

I guess there are other possibilities though. It's not beyond reason to imagine an ex-client with connections managing to acquire copies of some of if not all of the relevant files, either for their own sick pleasure or for blackmail purposes.
