Plagued Waifu culture - Cartoon fuckpillows and the men (and women) who love them

I keep trying to find concentrated "husbando" underground communities, but I only get pages on pages of tumblr results. Anyone got any leads on the girl equivalent of waifuists?

You'd be hard pressed to find many actual husbando pillows. But in general any fanfiction repository will be full of husbandos. Yaoi fangirls are the direct female counterpart to these people (waifu fanboys? there needs to be a word for them.)

In a certain way, he's right, methinks. There should be a "fictional characters' rights" movement. What could it be called? "Fictionism", maybe?

The thing is, fictional characters are taxed without representation; that is, the government gets huge revenue via sales taxes from media companies, and thus it could be said that anime girls pay taxes but are excluded from the political process. Also, they have no protection whatsoever from mistreatment by creepy unwashed 40-year-old weebs. Thirdly, fictional characters are so far not protected in any way against the horrible fates sometimes inflicted on them by their creators. The people of Troy had their city set on fire and pillaged, were killed or dragged of to slavery just because Homeros thought this would be a cool idea; Tonio Kröger suffered a life of loneliness and rejection because young Thomas Mann wanted to create an (anti-)Gary-Stu; Candide lived through a long voyage of terrible mishaps because Voltaire wanted to make a philosophical point, etc. Where, may I ask you, is the political advocate to liberate these innumerable anguished people from the cruel grasp of their irresponsible creators?!

pretty sure husbandofag "communities" basically died off when geocites fanpages/circles died off, but i still see plenty of individuals running around on their own. i've seen like 5 different body pillows of the dudes from FFXV since it came out. if you go to any anime con nowadays it probably wouldn't be too hard to find booths in the artist's alley with fanmade husbando pillow cases for sale either.

the closest thing you will find to an online community for these girls now is tumblr, as far as i know. no specific blogs or tags or anything, just... tumblr.

** Troy was a real place tho. Some nerd guy dug it up using the Odyssey and Iliad as maps.

I use to have a waifu and I also use to have a few daki covers of her (and other girls when I grew out of the phase).

I just wish I could go back in time so I can slap myself for participating in /a/ threads and chatting with other waifufags and displaying my waifu as a trophy girlfriend.

...are you sure you want to admit that here...?
