Set up by the po-po or guilty as sin?
my prediction: he is a creep who enjoys having sex with 17 year olds that he meets on instagram or whatever, which is legal in Minnesota

the police ran some sting operation where they told him they'll put out if he buys them an iphone or something, and they use that to amp up charges as "prostitution"

in a year after court battles he will still be a creep and possibly divorced but because of his status and hoard of lobbyist money he'll be able to get the charges down to a misdemeanor and time already served or something by arguing entrapment and also the iphone is a gift and no reasonable person would assume buying small gifts for a girl counts as prostitution

i ask this not to be a smartass, but as a real question; how do we jump the referee?
Start holding congressional hearings, subpoena the judges nonstop so that their cases have to be reassigned, interrogate them for hours, throw them in jail if they don't show up. Just because the actual impeachments are DoA doesn't mean the process can't be used to punish the offenders

Go full Jackson. The Court has no ability to enforce any of its rulings. What are they going to do? Send the U.S. Marshals to apprehend the President?
that's not jumping the referee, that's doing the cheating we're talking about. the cheating is ignoring the judiciary, which is exactly what trump is doing.

it's revealing the open secret to the public every time it happens. the judiciary has no power without the executive, which is on purpose. it's one of the checks of the judiciary that, while they have the power to decide sentences, the EXECUTIVE has the power to enforce them, and without the executive enforcing the decision, there is no enforcement power at all, like you say.

this is the checks and balances system working actively in front of our eyes, and it is a process to behold. only in America. :semperfidelis:

this is also a fantastic option, and i'm behind it. bureaucratic warfare is stronger than any art sun-tzu might have taught us.

This thread's obsession with me is understandable but getting out of hand. Some of the stuff you guys write about me makes absolutely no sense. Please just try and stay on topic.
The conservative audience want primarily to watch a good boxing match, week after week. Yes, we also want our guy to win, but the fact our guy loses because of cheating and fuckery is increasingly angering. Moreover, our boxers keep saying, "Sorry, we can't do anything about the cheating or the bribes...that would be rude." I don't really want our side to start cheating. I want our side to jump the corrupt referee in an alley and beat the fuck out of him until he learns to start calling fair matches.
The issue is the two party system as currently implemented makes the two parties part of a toxic co-dependent relationship. The way to deal with a cheater is to ban them from the sport for life. The problem is, if the Democrats go something else replaces them which disrupts the two party system as it exists. There is no guarantee the REPUBLICAN party survives such a disruption, it might go down too. So, both parties are satisfied to just be trading power back and forth forever. In the current system, Republicans will always have somewhere around half the power. Really going hard against the Democrats risks that.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called out the Left’s legal tactics:

“It’s incredibly apparent that there is a concerted effort by the far left to judge shop — to pick judges who are clearly acting as partisan activists from the bench in an attempt to derail this president’s agenda.”

If the faggots on the American left aren't going to play by the rules, why should the American right? That's not cheating; it's pragmatism.

The social contract has been used by the left to anally masturbate. It has been rendered null and void.

it's funny how the crystal ball of kiwifarms has had us describing exactly what they are for a month already.

totally agreed, and that was my major point. there's no point keeping the gloves on when every round your opponent takes them off and puts on successively more damaging knuckles. eventually you have to get sick of the shit and get your own spiked knuckles out; stop paying attention to what activist foreigner judges have to say about american politics. if they want to be a judge, they can self-deport with the CBP One app and go right back to their second 'homeland' and try and be a judge activising for cutting off little kids' body parts somewhere else.

Even if the future is not certain the current political situation is unsustainable for both sides.

I adore Leavitt, she takes no shit from the mainstream media and it is great.

The Court are such big pussies I'm surprised Bill Clinton hasn't put out a cigar on them.

I saw this and was like, "oh heck! I bet Texas is killing it." Sure enough :

Almost below 2 bucks on GasBuddy metrics.
The past few weeks have made me the anti-doomer, even if some things (like the Epstein shit) made me a little miffed, I will never stop anti-dooming:

I love my family, I love my friends, I love my fellow kiwis, I love my God and I love my Country.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Well, what choice do we have?

You had Dems by way of the FBI raiding Patriots’ houses in military gear because they took a stroll through the Capitol. There’s what can only be amounted to ethnic cleansing (of the native population) by way of both anarcho-tyranny and mass immigration (legal and illegal). Not to mention a culture that “finishes the job” through the longhouse of misery (e.g. car seat laws, no real chivalry for the married pregnant, not to mention the degeneracy).

I see the clock, and it’s effectively ticking towards do or die (within the cultural/legal/constitutional framework of this very republic).

And mind you, I’m not the sort who’s suicidal.

Basically this. Judge Boseburg said the quiet part out loud. He didn't say the Judiciary is equal to the President. He said that HE was equal to the President. That is a breathtakingly arrogant thing for a district judge to think, never mind say.

He's gonna find just what "coequal" means. Trump is just going to continue to ground its policies more firmly in Article 2, with respect to use of the military and foreign policy and tell the judges to go pound sand.

My hope is that Democrats will continue with their obstructionist tactics until they get voted out for spending all their time smearing "ORANGE MAN BAD" on the walls with their shit instead of serving constituents.

The Republicans didn't start this mud fight. The Democrats did and they have showed that they will do it to anyone. Trump tried to make nice in his first term and it almost got him thrown in jail for the crime of being a political opponent.

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/03/19/fed-rate-decision-march-2025.html

Fed holds interest rates steady, still sees two cuts coming this year

  • The rate-setting Federal Open Market Committee kept its key borrowing rate targeted in a range between 4.25%-4.5%, where it has been since December.
  • The FOMC downgraded its collective outlook for economic growth and gave a bump higher to its inflation projection.
  • Officials now see the economy accelerating at just a 1.7% pace this year, down 0.4 percentage point from the last projection in December.
  • In addition to the rate decision, the Fed announced a further scaling back of its “quantitative tightening” program in which it is slowly reducing the bonds it holds on its balance sheet.

  • Investors took encouragement that further cuts could be ahead, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising more than 400 points following the decision. However, in a news conference, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said the central bank would be comfortable keeping interest rats elevated if the economy remains strong.

“If the economy remains strong, and inflation does not continue to move sustainably toward 2%, we can maintain policy restraint for longer,” he said. “If the labor market were to weaken unexpectedly, or inflation were to fall more quickly than anticipated, we can ease policy accordingly.”
Edit: from watching JPow's speech, he was asked about how a lot of jobs growth came from government jobs, and if public sector job growth being low factored into the Fed's decision making. His answer was basically that, as far as the Fed is concerned, every job is the same.

Bring back politicians caning each other to near death. Let the one who left standing dictate policy.
While we're at it, bring back dueling too. Right wing politicians have inherent advantage due to the fact that they don't piss their pants the moment they fire their pistol and know how to aim one.
