The Protestant take on it is that Catholics are amoral because their works and system make sin and repentance transactional, they can buy their way out of their wrongdoing.
Both takes are obviously retarded strawmen, but the Protestant one less so as there’s empirical evidence that Catholic women ARE more likely to be whores and get abortions.

I don’t remember but if you give me time (probably have to remind me) I may be able to dig it up. I think it was something I stumbled across and it was surveying the impact of religious identity on a number of behaviors. College promiscuity was actually higher in Catholic girls than atheists and abortion was about the same for both demographics. In Evangelicals are both were lower.
For what it’s worth, Catholic misbehavior probably largely comes down to people being more likely to self-identify as Catholic when actually irreligious than Evangelicals are. Like, a Baptist that doesn’t go to church will just stop calling themselves Baptist even if they keep identifying as culturally Christian, whereas Catholic identity is preserved for a number of reasons. Much like Muslims and Jews, a pseudo-ethnic identity in the US.
On the other hand, Blacks are Evangelical, so if you adjust for their hyperpromiscuity and abortion, that makes the White Evangelicals (presumably) start to look really good.

The new Miss Germany 2025 is german again!! Last year was a woke mess where a below average looking iranian born woman won (there is lots of evidence that there was corruption involved since she knew the contest organizers personally and for her to win the organizers said that in 2024 they wanted to focus on successful immigrant women and "coincidentally" she is a succesful architect who designed the office where the contest organizers work. All of that caused a massive outrage on german speaking social media and the biggest newpaper exposed the corruption behind the scenes). BTW Something similar happened in Japan in 2024 where an ukranian born woman won but at least she was pretty...but she after she won she had a sex scandal and lost her fame.

The notion that because I refuse to support the dominant leftist culture/grift (or the one that's rightfully being exposed and dismantled) I'm somehow playing myself or will be worse off as a result, and that I am fool because the politicians I have voted for do not care about my interests and will probably fuck me in some way.

Yeah I hear this kind of argument all the time, as if everyone who voted for Trump thinks he's great and thus will be disappointed. The people spouting this would readily admit that Kamela wasn't ideal for them, but they thought she was the lesser evil. "Vote blue no matter who" and all that. So why can't they imagine that on the other side? It's very related to why they lost so hard.
Most people who voted for Trump don't wear red hats, and they know politicians are going to fuck them over to make a quick buck. May as well vote for the one who at least says what you want to hear.
I've seen the usual suspects making this argument here on the farms to troll the chuds, like, ok, Trump is a sleazebag and all, but notwithstanding that, why would I vote for Kamela when her position on every issue I care about is lunacy? They're never going to understand that Trump was the moderate candidate in that election.
This made at least a bit more sense back in 2016 when we had like six million candidates in the GOP primary.

Something tangentially related to this is that I know and see a lot of people who actually thought Trump was great but now turned on him. All Trump signs and flags I saw in my area started vanishing in February and are now gone. Many if not most of them were present since 2016-2020 period. Same goes for bumper stickers. Some of my neighbors who voted for Trump are now going to town halls and scream at reps about medicare cuts, tariffs, national parks, and egg prices being worse than under Biden. I have never seen people being this motivated to attack politicians they voted for few months ago. The few I talked to about their removed Trump sings say that Trump cheated and betrayed them. If the current administration keeps up what they are doing, this rightward swing might be very short lived. At least if my neck of woods is anything to go by.
Only positive is that this election might have snuffed out identity politics nonsense and will force people to get over it but I doubt it.

Well, it's not an election year, so no need to advertise. Now let's assume the premises are true. The problem with Trump's plan is that he needs domestic industries to return to the US, which have several problems:
1. Initial investment. Tariffs are supposed to help balance domestic costs of starting businesses, but it's all stick and no carrot. There's marginal benefit to building in the US even after tariffs because of high employee cost standards, which is why offshoring happened in the first place.
2. Sketchy education practices. DEI contributes its own brand of insanity, but the problem with colleges is that they don't actually connect to businesses that are hiring. Businesses want trained (under-paid) people to know how to do specific tasks on day one. The knowledge the professors have is out of date and/or aimed at climbing Academia's ladder, which isn't relevant to the businesses' needs.
3. Kafka-trap hiring practices. Getting a new job just doesn't make sense. Between fake job postings and businesses abusing the interview process to get free labor, employees don't know if they will get a stable career at the end of it. When finding a job is itself a full-time unpaid job where you don't truthfully fit requirements, welfare or Youtubing makes a lot more sense.
He wants to use planned economic measures, but America doesn't allow for planned economies. Trump will blame private businesses for failing to take up the slack, which I can sympathize. It's that what he's trying to rebuild is the 20 year career path and that just doesn't exist anymore. Every US worker is a mercenary and thus come with mercenary problems. Whether the lack of loyalty is caused by businesses or employees is a chicken or the egg issue; loyalty is dead in the corporate world and so is reliability.
