Can you dm me what you find cause I never heard about that.

probably not because I know this from living through the era and being personally acquainted with a bunch of the players. there was extensive journalism about it in the 90s and there are good bibliographies indexing this journalism in the buttloads of phd theses that have been written on the subject but finding this shit requires university affiliation and/or insane autism

it's this scholarship done on earth first and associated groups that is presented to policy groups and government committees and it's extremely pro-terrorist. the groups are basically treated like the UN currently treats Hamas.

this is probably where the idea that ecoterrorists are "treated with kid gloves" comes from, because right now, the *image* of the ecoterrorists of the 90s is heavily laundered and if you google for stuff like earth first and ELF you will find faggot opinion pieces about how they were good boyz who loved the erf and dindu nuffin. But on the ground at the time the FBI was taking this shit very cereal and running active couterterrorism gayops. (the ops were frequently actually gay in that actual gay relationships were established between agents and terrorists)

I recommend reading Pynchon's novel Vineland for a sense of the vibe of the time.

The DNC is in shambles. It's amazing to me that tens of millions of people are going to vote blue, no matter who. The DNC doesn't need plan or a platform. I guess the plan to import voters really does work.

The thing with Elon is that he owns the social media platform that got Trump elected so Trump knows he has to play nice. Vivek on the other hand did the exact same shit and his ass got kicked to the designated shitting street for it.

I still would never want to work for Musk and I sure as shit wouldn't want to see him hold any public office. He's not the kind of guy you want having power over you.
I try to tell this to other people that like trump but they just brush it off because musk helps trump so he must be the good guy right? And I’m actually wondering if these people realize what having a boss like Elon is like. It’s like everyone says “He is making the government more efficient” which tbf I support, but do you really want a boss who prioritizes his own view of efficiency over everything else? Thats also the real kicker, Elon could consider 24/7 ass kissing to be absolutely necessary for an efficient industry while paying Americans good salaries could decrease efficiency when there are Indians willing to work for less

Judge Boasberg has set a hearing for 14:30 today (Friday) as he felt the responses to his questions by the DoJ were "insufficient". He is demanding a "cabinet level member with full knowledge of the facts" report to the hearing to answer his questions.

He has said he will use the "FULL array of legal powers vested in his position to enforce adherence. Upto and not limited to filing contempt charges against Trump if his requests are not fullfilled"

Do it faggot, try to charge Trump with contempt for not obeying your ridiculous request. good luck finding a bailiff or sheriff to enforce those warrants. I think were about to have a Andrew Jackson moment here as this Democrat judge fully believes he has the power to put Trump in prison for not obeying his orders.

Fun times ahead!
What happened to arresting Trump via the ‘War Act’?

Because district courts have the power to bring charges against the President. It's right there in the Constitution!

I don't really see this as 'fun' outside of shit posting. Actually I find it very frustrating that this behavior is being allowed at all as it's a waste of time and the administration not stomping this out only gives these actions the perception of legitimacy (not that they actually are). This judge is being allowed to operate outside of his judicial powers and is actually threatening the president with contempt charges. He's saying he has 'wartime' powers that don't exist.

While it may be funny to call these people retarded and such I don't find this situation very funny.

that's because you're a sad sad person

Kennedy whole process is that he pulls a Columbo with the soft spoken hick accent that actually does his research.

Which really works cause about 2/3 of the people he is grilling were not even alive when Columbo first came out.
I think of him as a cross between Columbo and Matlock. He's one of the best out there when it comes to disarming and then going in for the kill.

This is true, and AAA games have (generally) expanded in scope but I'm torn on what the major increase in labor is actually about. Is it because AAA titles are now openish world games where you walk around between dozens of different minigames someone has to program? Or is it because ballooning visual fidelity means some poor bastard is painting endless 4k textures down to minute detail and that just takes a lot longer?

Think of software as a machine. The more complex the machine is, the more expensive it is to build and test. More parts, more designers, more testers, etc. The way they've defrayed this cost is predominantly through in-game transactions rather than raising the price of the games. If they did the latter, just keeping up with inflation would bring games to $80 ($50 in 2005 dollars is $80 in today's dollars), and then the increased costs bring that well over $100. As annoying as battle passes and all that shit is, selling that game for cheap and then keeping it alive with "seasons" for potentially years on end has turned out to be a much more successful revenue model than selling the game for a high price and needing to sell millions and millions of units in 90 days or go bankrupt.

While Europe is thinking about canceling F-35 contracts in favor of obsolete European-made aircraft, Trump is announcing the successor to the F-22, the F-47:

Who's making it? If its Boeing I think it'll be a decade before they fly their first test. SpaceX making it is a bit on the nose but it would run better.
