this is a little meta but I think about it a lot - people need to separate the use of the Internet for distribution, which is absolutely amazing and glorious, and the use of the Internet for research and storage. There's brief big sections here and there but imo not as bad as the tweet makes it out to be. It's more like they put the credits for all the different regional versions, plus exported almost the company's entire employee directory (which kinda shows how bloated these AAA gaming companies are), and then tacked on a huge special thanks/production babies section and then fucking copypasted the entire licenses of open source libraries instead of moving them to some separate legal/EULA section which pads on an extra 15 minutes. All this on one single column too instead of spreading it out across multiple like in movie credits.
