Still something to keep an eye on as his revenue flow declines. Youtube views halved, twitch views halved, twitch subs down from 50-70k to 4-10k....Mald has caused a large chunk of his original community to turn away and he may either do the responsible thing(very unlikely) and send these ferrets to another rescue or double down and neglect their welfare. The latter is more likely, and unfortunately for the innocent ferrets, they are just another victim of mald's insane behaviour.
Having a vet onsite would be absurdly expensive and pretty fancy. I think the common thing to do is just have a dedicated vet or two to call for any issues. It's not like ranchers have vets on hand for the livestock and for them it's their livelihood. Shaye is basically their on site vet. Wanting to scale up to 250 is insane, however.

I would agree with you, except that if Jason wants to scale his operations to the size he mentions, which I doubt because 250 is a retarded number of ferret piss to clean, having at least one veterinary on site for any problems that may arise is the bare minimum. He has 50 ferrets and I'd say hes understaffed with only 3 people, 2 of which are just volunteers, but I'm only stating the obvious.
Animal rescues are not conservation projects, you don't need actual qualifications and licensing to run an animal rescue as they're suppose to be a temporary shelter for individual animals that are deemed to require medical assistance. The valuable ones look to rehome out the animals they rescue, but some are run by wealthy nepobabies and can just keep them in their possession forever, like mald.
Depends on the state or the city. A lot of places have a limit on how many animals you can keep unless you have permits and are registered.
