And this is the other issue. The headshot style of dating creates crazy misaligned incentives for attractive men and avg women. Women swipe on a guy who historically would be out of her league, get crazy endorphins when they match because Grugette Brain thinks she won the reproductive lottery, and then she gets strung along as a sidepiece until he tires of her. Hence the rise of “Are we dating the same guy” groups.
