Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Winter for Poland and France

I wish to that Mel Brooks was more popular these days. That was honest-to-God good American comedy. Mongo punching the horse in Blazing Saddles is one of the funniest scenes in any movie ever. It's really a sign of the times that all we get for comedy is Bill Burr wiping his tears with his money about how awful rich people are, Shane Gillis glorifying alcoholism, and Sam Hyde pretending-not-pretending to be racist. Joe Rogan fucking a stool is more amusing.
all modern "comedy" is fucking awful. Brooks was a product of the post war time as a jew he was able to satirize the war in a way that non jew writers couldn't and he was self aware enough that he knew it was funny to make fun of both sides in the culture war.Because of his previous good will he was able to continue to make both sides funny until the 80s
That whole song intrudes my thoughts daily. It's so good.

I was born is Dusseldorf and that is why they call me Rolf.

The fucking backup dancers with pretzel and beer stein hats were incredible. Will Ferrel as the hiding Nazi could not be done today and Uma Thurman's performance was fantastic. I could sperg about that film for days, but this isn't the thread. It suffices to say that, culturally, I wish we could go back to playfully mocking stereotypes. Now you fart the wrong way and people accuse you of bigotry.
you heathen referencing the remake. The original was so much better except for Barrowman.
Edit: @Clyde Cash's Left Teste I was being a little generous calling the original film a musical. It's basically a musical.

Honestly, it's pitiful seeing the dems continue to make the same mistakes that caused them to lose the election.

I'm surprised they are still a party at this point. A huge chunk of Americans want absolutely nothing to do with them and Trump is on fucking rampage mode, so what the hell would they have left after his term?

The Democrats are relying on IQ differences.

Has anyone else been following the ongoing Harry Sisson drama on X? Apparently the dem organizer he is working for is even sleazier than he is and actively victimized children or some shit, and Harry bragged about voting for Kamala even though he's not a US citizen.
I am gratified to see that his downfall is following my imagined timeline. I did not know he was a noncitizen though which makes his actions even more hilarious.

Yeah it's gay as hell per all musical theater and kinda weird, but it's not casual bullshit like a review like Jerome Robbins' Broadway, it's not niche like Sweeny Todd (violence) or Starlight Express (foamers)
Basically it's Cats, Les Mis, or Phantom
Rent is legally EVERYONE HAS AIDS
What blows my mind is no one liked Cats. It was played up at the time by critics, then everyone saw it, and realized "wow, these people really like the smell of their own farts." It was mocked into oblivion throughout the 90's to the point that kid's shows like Hey Arnold! made fun of it. There was a similar phenomenon with Rent and it got mocked in Team America: World Police, among other entertainment in the late 2000's/early early 2010's.

There was a time that theater kids had some self-awareness. Now, even the likes of Patrick Stewart get TDS and turn every production into some contemporary political statement. That's nothing new - what do people think kitchen sink drama was about? Why did André Malraux write about communist uprisings in his fiction novels written in the 1930's? - but now it's an industry and it's gotten to a point that it's hackneyed and, in many cases, dishonest drivel written by people who don't even know what they're talking about. The extent of their life experience has been high school, college, and then show business. George Orwell fought in the Spanish Civil War. André Malraux at least went to the places he wrote about and acknowledged that he was lucky to make it out alive amid the violence.

Ben Shapiro, whatever people here think about that dork, is up-front about the movies and shows that the Daily Wire produces. They are conservative productions for a conservative audience. It's a business. Take it or leave it. Mainstream movie, TV, and stage productions try to present themselves as "telling the truth," but it's obvious to everyone but them that it's politically motivated.

If Hollywood types just said "yeah, we're liberal, go fuck yourself," they would get less pushback. However, admitting that destroys their belief that they are the cultural pulse of the world. It also admits that they're doing this for an audience, which means for money, and underscores their disregard for real world experiences and relevance. They resent that more than anything else. They don't want to admit that they're sheltered putzes and not globetrotters like the heroes they worship.
But the later zoomers, especially those who were in school during the pandemic are not equibed for life at all. I've tried to train two this year to operate a cash register at my store. They can't count. they do fine on stocking, on cleaning but they just cannot into cash money. they are good kids but basic math is beyond them.
I went to a pharmacy once and the Zoomer behind the counter asked my birthday for verification. I told it to him in numbers. He did not know what month my numbers corresponded to. He was not an immigrant. I did not return to that pharmacy. For whatever it's worth, everyone looked at him like he was a retard, but still.

Highly unlikely. They'll want to experience all the country has to offer. More than likely, they'll settle in the big cities and buy up properties to live in or rent, and that'll drive the prices up.

Anyone who can afford the gold card is buying luxury housing that costs as much or more as their gold card. They aren't competing for the same housing as the average citizen. Incidentally because the large cities that those people are most likely to move to all have rent control policies, about the only new housing that gets constructed without massive government grants is luxury, high-end housing because wealthy people gladly pay not to live with section 8 dregs. Gold card holders may ensure that more housing actually gets constructed rather than pushing people out of existing housing.

more and more i believe that many of our problems stem from the proliferation of social media and cell phones etc. I'm a early zoomer but i grew up in a part of the country that is perennially 20-30years behind the rest of the country. We still had a lot of the relationship problems by the time i was born (high divorce rates, single motherhood) but the blow was softened i feel by the relative inaccessibility of high speed internet, reliable phone service and the still existing generational land holdings here. many of us grew up in single mother homes BUT almost always had our grandparents next door or even in the same house to help raise us. that and connection to the land (my family has lived here since the late 17th century) has prevented us from becoming completely atomized.

so many zoomers of my cohort (born 1998-2001) seem to be fairly normal (save for the methheads). we work normal rural jobs (mechanic, resource extraction, farming, grocery stores etc.) and nearly all stand to inherit a house. permanant relasonships are uncommon but so is marriage, so getting screwed by the courts is fairly rare among us.

this is kinda a ramble sorry.
there's this one zoomer I'm online buddies with who's raised by his grandparents, good egg, good head on his shoulders mostly, occasionally shows his hand as "raised by grandparents" at tech but still a reasonable person even if he didn't know there was a music video for Nightmare On My Street

the zoomiest thing I've encountered IRL was a clerk at the joint I'm renting at. I asked about using a check to pay, and he explained they don't take cash. I explained that I wanted to use a CHECK not cash, and he clarified no cash of any sort, not checks, money orders, dollar bills
because in mong zoom speak "cash" means "paper used to settle debt"

I can't wait until Hogg's degen online shit comes out. If anyone's into zoo or pedo it's that guy. Best you can say for Sisson is at least all his nonsense seemed to be with actual women that were of age.

The original was amazing with Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel was a more convincing crook, but the remake had better musical numbers and both Franz Liebkind and Carmen Ghia got more screen time. Sue me.

I recall my first exposure to Cats was the psa about smoking or whatever it was
at the very least you can say of Cats, it's very sincere
you can argue if "A Broadway Show!" has any merit about existing or not, but Cats is definitely A Broadway Show beyond any shadow of the doubt

There is such a thing in show business as being too sincere. Case in point: Hannah Gadsby.

If it wasn't for the little pep rallies they wouldn't be able to generate any images or quotes for the media to show while talking about "party solidarity" and "fighting back" they have to have these pity parties or else they have nothing. The dem party is dead and leaderless as it fails around trying to figure out which of the hundreds of self inflicted cuts was the one that finally did them in. They'll never ask the questions needed to reform themselves, this is what they asked for and what they deserved.
Trannies and the import of infinity foreigners. It's insane how just these two issues alone are such a huge stumbling block for them. Of course they have more going on than just that, but looking inward and asking yourself if you really want to be the party that grooms kids and propagates domestic drug dealers (and the problems they bring) should be a pretty easy question to answer. But, no, they choose over and over to go "mu-mu-muh rights, man everybody should have rights, man" as if 1) trannies have different rights than everybody else for some reason and 2) foreigners don't have rights which they apparently do for some reason.

They're just platforming on non-issues while dressing them up in the ugliest way they possibly could.
They're not a party and they never were. It's the dying gasp of the Uniparty. Why else would Schumer just flat out call Americans greedy for not wanting to pay taxes?
As if being pissed off with taxes wasn't the issue that led to a bunch of farmers and lawyers arming themselves against and overthrowing the most powerful military of their time and leading to the formation of the most powerful nation on the planet today.

Actual question, if inmigration causes crime, why are current studies skewed to say otherwise? Is it faulty methodology, or the statistics themselves are cooked?

Short and simple answer, yes, they cook the books. Long answer, they manipulate the data in a lot of ways and to a point that it's not useful or reflects their personal beliefs. Methods used are things like booking Hispanics/blacks as white during arrests. Not allowing race or nationality to be added to certain forms. Over or under sampling certain demographics during surveys and when it's not anything listed above then they will just flat out lie.

Take California for instance, when there was major uptick of crimes happening at their train stations (black on white/Hispanic crime almost exclusively), the camera footage didn't support their racial narrative and was making it's way online. Their response wasn't to add more cops or addresses why the crime was racially biased. Their response was to remove the cameras from the train station.

I see Hogg as more of a floor freezer hooker enjoyer than a pedo. He just looks like the kind of guy who went on a date, came home with the girl, could not get it up and killed her for laughing at him but that was not enough so he had to start cruising for prostitutes to murder.
Apparently, a fatwa has been issued to MAGA shill accounts on behalf of BIG SODA to post in favor of keeping soda in food stamps—for seemingly no reason. Some pretty big accounts are involved (and also Ian Miles Cheong, too), and allegedly, they're paying up to $1,000 per shill

I really do not understand why people receiving government food benefits are allowed to buy shit like soda or pop-tars or cereals that are 10x your daily sugar limit with those benefits. It really irks me.

Also if they were paid to post that stuff and failed to disclose that this was a paid statement it is a FTC violation. It was a violation when it was done by people on the left and it is just as much of one now. I hope the FTC fines the ever living fuck out of all parties involved.
