A bad bios flash is not really possible? Most OEMs check for a signature before it is flashed. So if they somehow bypassed that, I'd be more impressed.

Some faggot buddy troll named Risky sent it to him back in 2023. Risky said he paid 1000 for it but, when we looked it up we saw the same exact computer on Amazon for 600. It was a Skytech brand gaming pc. This was right after Raxx got bailed out of jail and he went dark for a little bit cuz his lawyer advised him to.

From the video we can see the ASRock logo when the computer boots. From that we can conclude he never disabled displaying showing the logo.
LogoFAIL was dicovered in December 2023. If he had recieved the computer in 2023 I assume it was before that date. Only making it more plasuble by the fact that the exploit got discovered so late in the year.

We do not know if he had updated his firmware or not. I am not autistic enough to want to scrape through the video to see a version number for the firmware. The video is too low quality for me to make out anything. We assume for now he never updated the firmware.

LogoFAIL is entierly plasible given these facts. I won't dive into the details of LogoFAIL and how it works as it is outside the scope of this thread, look it up and there is tons of information.

Tbh, this website hates everybody. It's fine to watch a guy like Smokey and enjoy his content. Other than some lazy research and grifting (shit every successful content creator does) he's not that bad.

This is true almost all of the time. However, with certain exploits it is possible to disable the no-write bit, and after that force a flash with certain parameters using a 3rd party utility. You usually have to ignore a bunch of warnings that explicitly tell you not to do what you are doing if you are the least bit unsure, but they can be ignored.

It's no different than diskpart. There is a command for overriding the protected volume/partition bit. It isn't listed in the tool itself, or the accompanying documentation, but you can look it up online.

Asrock logo stays persistent there. Anyone using LOGOfail are not using it on cyraxx. They are selling it for a shitload of money. And people buying are not using it on Cyraxx, because it would be expensive as fuck.
Also, after each bios flash attempt, Cyraxx turns his computer back on. In a flash, your pc will reboot.
He is being tricked to cut power dur8ng the update, causing the problem,

As for the rat, its not hard to think that someone was feeding him ps scripts to copy/paste to completely shut down wd. Which would let them install something, normally easily detected, with hvnc and all the other fun stuff.
As for persistence? I bet he went to the windows site, downloaded their tool and went from there. The tool will not delete all data. Microsoft needs that to track you.
Or constant social engineering after each reinstall, which would be sweaty work.
