I just wanted to post the video of the ground bats. I was too lazy to do it in my first post. You inspired me to go find it. I did actually know the German for bat but I'll admit the joke flew over my head.German for bat: FLEDERMAUS
FLYING
MOUSE
Non-flying mouse: JUST A MOUSE
(We probably had a misunderstanding, I got what you meant, I was joking.)
Edit: Please be patient I have autism
Now I feel bad for hijacking the cat fact thread with bat stuff so here's a gif of a cat catching a bat out of mid airDouble Edit: Oh God that's disgusting
I like bats, but seeing it creep around like a fucking spider is nasty
Yeah the cats I got were from a pregnant stray, I kept her around for as long as possible then she looked pregnant again so I relocated her to a house under construction next to a river, plenty of homeless folk, police station, and dog food outside as far as the eye can see. She kinda sucks at being a mom and dropped one off a retaining wall breaking its leg, another died from exposure venturing out the insulated box made for them.View attachment 7128651
In my experience this is how it goes. Every cat I've ever had was abandoned, usually on the dirt road where local scumbags like to dump unwanted animals so I took them home. while my siblings and parents buy pure breed dogs that cost thousands of dollars. Fun story I've found three goats, a chicken, and god only knows how many dogs and cats on that road over the years. I take most of them to the humane society. I still have the goats, 3 cats, and a chicken.
That is the best kitty. Killing mice and birds at the same time.I just wanted to post the video of the ground bats. I was too lazy to do it in my first post. You inspired me to go find it. I did actually know the German for bat but I'll admit the joke flew over my head.
Also, more name autism. Bats aren't related to rodents at all and are actually in the order Chiroptera which means 'hand wing' in Latin and if you look at the wing structure of a bat it's actually a big hand with long fingers and a membrane stretched between them.

Shut up with the antifeline propaganda, DOG.Studies suggest a link between exposure to cats during childhood and an increased risk of schizophrenia-related disorders.
The hypothesis is that it may have something to do with the toxoplasmosis parasite, which is commonly spread to people via exposure to cat feces (and is why pregnant women aren't supposed to clean litter boxes).
Only because you haven't met mine. There is no superior entity.Strange and interesting fact: my cat is the cutest and bestest cat
My cat brings me voles, primarily. She thinks I'm too retarded to feed myself. She watches me eating broccoli with a palpable expression of disgust and pity. Found her in the garage of a hoarders house when she was teeeeny tiny.Cats don't just bring you dead animals as a present, they're also trying to teach you how to hunt your own mice. I also read that if your cat sleeps at the foot of your bed, it wants to protect you.
My theory is that cats drop animal parts at the doorstep because it's polite cat culture to share (but many of them are too selfish to give you the good parts). My cat brings me voles, primarily. She thinks I'm too retarded to feed myself.
It puts a whole new spin on the old tortoise and the hare story.Edit: BTW, in theme with autistic mental associations, the Aztec word for turtle translates, accurately, to "turtle rabbit."
It also seems to make them fat, I was just joking around with the vet when he was getting neutered saying he would become a Garfield and they were adamant about that not being the case but the other two are normal while he's an adorable tub of shit now.The gene that makes cats ginger also makes them retarded.
