This is something I've seen a lot in fandom circles, but it's popped up more and more in fiction that has rape as a topic. Now, women do not like writing or reading about rape, for good reason. It's not something to be fetishized. However, when it comes to subjects such as Boy's Love (yaoi) or fics where FTMs turn a non-traditional masculine male into a pooner, the following paradox shows up.

I've seen a tweet from a notable pooner, MGCraig, where she says that it's easier to write men getting raped because, provided so women are involved, you skirt around the issues of objectification. So what happens when said male character is made into a pooner? It occupies a sort of middle-ground: you SHOULD see that character as male, you interpret them as male, they otherwise would be male...but their sex was made female. Yet, the author insists that they are not female, because transmen are men. When you read said rape scene, you should not be moved because the character should not be viewed as female, but seen as male, and males do not get sexually objectified the same way women do.

However, in every single case, when it comes down to it, the True and Honest trans man is ALWAYS beaten back, made demure, and quite literally fucked into submission from the actual male character. You are not supposed to see it as male-on-female rape, but a form of gay rape, because if the trans man says they are male, they are somehow male, yet your brain knows that's a female because they have a vagina - yet at the same time, you view that character as male. You get a little mind-fucked, and then logic hits you and you are left wondering why transmen revert back into acting like helpless women when a man gets angry and why they are always sexually abused at the hands of men. It happens so often I wonder if it's a case of projection, a legitimate fetish, or why a trans man occupies the middle ground between the visceral reaction of a male-on-female rape and the frequent fetishization of male-on-male rape in these circles. It's objectification, but not against 'cis' women; it's supposed to be empowering and smutty because the woman now 'identifies' as a man.

They write this to escape objectification and not be reminded of the perils of their female sex, yet write the female character getting raped and abused but now it's 'different' because they're trans?

The opposite does not happen: transwomen always fantasize about getting their assholes blown out; pooners are the ones constructing these elaborate rape fantasies. They want to be men, and be objectified as men, yet get treated as women during a rape...huh?

I have seen something rather strange lately, I met this guy that is born a man, obviously male, not really gender nonconforming as he still dresses and acts like any regular man, although he calls himself non binary, he finds pooners attractive, but in a way that he wants to be like them, he fantasizes about having zippertits and all. Even though he is a born man he finds the idea of being a pooner attractive. I don't know if this is some kind of twisted pooner AGP fantasy of him, and I find it strange as I don't think I've seen something like this before.

I could see well-filtered, posed photos being a problem if you're just looking. And I could also see it being a blow if you've talked for a day or so and started to hope, before you stop and ask yourself exactly how many women are into speedrunning. I would agree but according to these peoples logic, a kid being put on life altering hormones is A OK. So what's the big deal?
Unlike troonery, morbid obesity is a deadly disease, therefore Ozempic is seen as life saving care. And according to these people, the side effects of said life saving care doesn't matter- and that it can all be reversed since it is in regards to our hormones.

Or in most other cases even the gender respecters will default to they/them when confronted with a person with a bio like "Ayden, 18, genderweird gremlin creature, rat/ratself or bug/bugself" (because let's be real, neopronouns are mostly an online thing) and it goes to show the problem with all these made up pronouns - there are too damn many and they're being treated more like nicknames than words that serve an actual purpose in conversation.

Also goes without saying that I'd rather not call someone who wants they/them pronouns by said pronouns because IMO non binary is just a nicer way to say you're too stupid to realise you can comfortably live with your own biological sex without following stereotypes, and there are so few they/thems who can properly pull off the androgynous look, most of them you can still tell exactly what they are beneath the dyed hair and horribly mismatched outfits.
